stopped in for a few drinks and an appetizer at this cool place near our hotel. great vibe. very laid back. they were pretty busy but service was really nice. we really enjoyed it. the calamari was spot on.

i thought this was going to be your average run of the mill bar food but i was mistaken. great flavors with interesting influences like the korean meatballs. the entrees are pretty big so if you get an appetizer you can definitely split an entree. i highly recommend the lamb burger.

i had a lovely visitor over labor day weekend, and i took her to see the boston sights! we took a stroll down newbury street, through the public garden and boston common, and wove our way through beacon hill until we reached the tip tap room for some scrumptious brunch before kayaking down the charles river.

we really enjoyed this place. all meals were delicious. large open windows gives you the best of both worlds, under cover seating whilst feeling like kerb side dining. great atmosphere and high patronage the night we went. service was excellent and prompt. not an extensive wine menu (hence the 4.5 rather than 5 rating) but enough to find a drop suitable to the palate.

delicious upscale pub food, with 36 draft taps (2 nitro!)

15-20 dollar entrees and wild game specials.

just go already. you and your belly will love it.

extensive and satisfying drink menu. food wasn't great - brussels sprouts undercooked, short rib had a seed-like crumble on top of it that made for an unpleasant bite and sauce was way too sweet. boyf liked the turkey tips, though! nice ambience for a casual drink but wouldn't come running back for the meal.

excellent variety of brand beers.
good place for drinks or dinner.
love the big opened windows, seems like we are seating outside.

love tip tap. it's one of the few good bars in that specific part of beacon hill that i've tried and i really enjoy the atmosphere. food and drinks are both yummy and the wall of windows opens for a great summer time breeze.

refreshing!. when you are out and about touring the city, make sure to stop by this watering hole with over 36 tap beers and 50 bottle of wine. the food is pricey, but there are plenty of interesting gastropub delights. i especially enjoyed their mocktail offerings and ordered a lavender lemon sparkler= fresh homemade lavender simple syrup flavored lemonade. very refreshing. my only complaint is i wished for a free refill with the $6 price tag. the staff is very friendly and provided good conversation and tourist attraction recommendations. free wi-fi too boot!

great place to eat. not one bad thing about this gastro pub. and the scenery is amazing... at least 15 smokes around me right now.

went after lock over( rat bastard ). overflowing. wait staff excellent. rest of party enjoyed various meats. celery salad excellent. got free bread pudding for post lock down. massive beer selection. almost overwhelming.

the menu is eclectic and colorful. our waiter, peter, had the patience of a saint. as we continually asked questions regarding items on the menu he cheerfully answered them all. as he made his suggestions he hinted that bear would be on the menu later in the season.

for our main course, we tried almost every type of tip of on the menu including some specials. we tasted steak, lamb, chicken, swordfish, kangaroo, yak, and buffalo. my favorites were the swordfish and yak, and although i decided kangaroo meat wasn’t quite my thing i loved the opportunity to try it and chef poe’s interpretation and preparation was outstanding.
