excellent space good food andgreatbuffet spread. its keeps you moving a poised place amongst the loudness of kochi!. would prefer going there on a repeated interval

one of my favourite places for a buffet dinner. there aregreatsalads, continental dishes and also a naadan (traditional) section. but i love their desserts the most. do go there for a formal dinner or just for some family time.

the best buffet. the non veg varieties were to die for. the desserts were top class. the panacottas and custard were perfect. best place for a relaxing buffet as majority of the other customers are officials.greatambience.

after looking through all the awesome reviews about this restaurant, i decided to check it out. went in for the lunch buffet. the place is nice,greatambience. it was not much crowded despite being a sunday noon.

they served me chicken soup which was good. then i went for the main part, the main course. they had a wide platter. lots of dishes from kung pao chicken to beef and sausage pie to fried rice and a lot of other items too. a wide spread lunch buffet. being a meat lover i forgot to check the vegetarian section but i could see a lot of dishes over there too. large varieties of salads both veg&non veg.

now about the food. the food was nothing that great, considering from what the reviews said. it was just average. and i think the centre hotel, the one in panampilly has better food as i've been there for buffet 3-4 times. everything was just okay, nothing exceptionallygreatfor me to point out. after that i entered into the desert section. it was a treat to the eye as well as the stomach. large variety of deserts. and all were exceptionally good. there was so much sugar rush that i had to stop for a while and continue later.

so overall it's just okay. i would recommend the centre hotel more than this! sorry about the poor clarity of the photos, the lighting was too poor!

excellent a la carte menu! had shrimp wrapped in bacon? curious but tasty indeed! liked the pepper sauce steak here especially!greatambience,greatfood andgreatservice with a smile! especially wonderful desserts as well! loved the chocolate cake in custard. simply blew my taste-buds away! will be sure to visit again!

been here for dinner on a friday, that's apparently an exclusive seafood buffet night! reallygreatspread with good quality food from continental to kerala specialties. the service at the regent is impeccable. one of the best ever!

every friday you have sea food speciality. and for a change itsgreatto have it. from soups to everything is fishy. chef joshua is great. i love his braised chilly fish. for 700 per person. for such a good spread is great. value. remember their desserts are top class so don't miss them either. sea food is only friday.

if you want to enjoy tasty buffet remember. be there as early as possible enjoy each food in minimal quantity.

as reviews earlier state, i concur that this is the most reasonably priced dinner buffet in ernakulam. the buffet has agreatdeal of fusion attached to it. it always includes dishes from continental, traditional keralaite, north indian and south indian cuisines. the desserts and salads are spread out wide enough to everyone's liking. you also have the option to choose a drink of your liking and they even allow you to order for appams or porottas if you would want to substitute for something in the buffet and at no additional cost. the service is good and like a tapenyaki, you get to experience real-time dosas !! they are not five star but can give any five-star a run for their money !!

the food is alwaysgreatin avenue. never had to complain fir years. i've been to few of their banquet parties and the just loved it. they have some special desserts which are awesome. cheers guys..greatjob..

the first ever buffer i ever had was here. my dad took me and my brother to this place for something i had only heard till then. it was agreatexperience sitting on some really cool chairs, well laid out tables with a host of cutlery (some of which we wondered what people used it for) and really nice looking ambiance. back then i would given this place a 5/5 for experience i had.

now having eaten quite a lot of buffets, i would say this place offers a very good buffet. multiple options fill up the buffet with typical salads to starters and then the main course & desserts. overseeing mg road this is a fine place to eat dinner watching the busy roads around you. the food is a mix of traditional & continental. back then i used to stick to only traditional food. fish was especially good here. the only time i tried continental, it was just average. since i am not a big fan of continental food, i usually give the section a miss.

service is fine and the place is neat & tidy. they need to improve their spread to give the people a wow feeling. maybe concentrating on traditional kerala food is not a bad idea.

one advice: go for the usual menu rather than the buffet if you want good food here. the buffet is mostly average with a few usual desserts. but their non buffet items are really good. especially the jumbo prawns dressed with bacon and their desserts.
the ambience here isgreatand the entire staff is extremely friendly.
