the sink is famous for their burgers and pizza. i went back and forth between pizza and one of their sandwiches, and in the end ordered the mesa chicken sandwich

great food. we headed here after the bolder boulder, although they were busy they were able to seat our party of 9 within about 15 minutes. the atmosphere is very collegiate, graffiti and drawings over almost very inch of the wall, and very bassy music playing in the background; and watch out for the low ceilings if you are over six feet tall. once you get past the college/dive atmosphere the food is great. we tried the buddah basil pizza, and it was amazing. the burgers had great flavor, and the sweet potato fries were possible the best i have ever had. i would like to go back and try some of their other items, and would recommend it to anyone looking for some good food, as long as you don't mind the dive atmosphere.

i guess 5 stars for being historical and having weird/ crude art work on the walls and obama’s face on the tables? but, a 2.5 for the service and food quality. i say go once, just to say you did.

the sink has been the place where kiddos on the hill go to drink for something like 90 years now. i gotta say, the history is very groovy in this place. the walls are designed with retro-looking art, all mocking the various majors at cu, and the tables are littered with historical newspaper clippings from the sink's sordid history. to me, the drinks are average, the service is average, and the food is slightly above average. honestly, not really my spot, but i do enjoy walking around the place and checking out all the vivid and interesting art on the walls.

the sink is a staple of boulder.  used to go here before softball games every monday afternoon.  the staff is always incredibly nice and welcoming.  the food has definitely gotten better over the last few months and the new stuffed cheese bread they have on the appetizer menu is great.  their happy hour is solid and the rotating taps always keep it interesting.  if you're in boulder, get a burger, get an app, get a pizza, get something-- just make sure you go to the sink.

perfect in every way! a great boulder experience and landmark. hit this place for sure!

the sink is longtime university of colorado tradition, with a rabbit’s warren of dining rooms and colourful drawings blanketing the walls and low ceilings. have a shoulder-to-shoulder pint of beer with the tall lads at the bar or sit down and order the excellent buddah basil pizza, its nicely blistered crust covered with pesto tomato sauce, tofu, spinach, basil and artichoke hearts.

very good blue cheese burger, but the place is just sort of a college dive. could take it or leave it.

solid burger joint.. good service and rock solid burgers. this place has real cu history all over it's walls.

check it out!. one of the best restaurants and bars in boulder. great atmosphere, better drink prices. the place has been around since the 1920s. dollar wells every night from 10-11 during the school year; 10:30-11:30 during the summer. only use organic ingredients; nothing is ever frozen. best sweet potato fries ever! sit on the patio, or sit inside and go through the artwork on the walls about boulder's past. even obama stopped by this place for some pizza on his latest trip to boulder.

you have no choice. you have to go here if you even stop for a snack in boulder. when i travel over the summer and tell people i'm from cu i've had people from 30-60 ask me about the sink and if i have been there. the food is pretty good, the menu is relatively simple but the atmosphere is unbeatable. if you're a freshmen take your parents here for family day but when you're a senior (or of age) this is a great spot to get dinner and drinks with friends.

the sink has definitely got to be one of the best burger places, in my opinon, coupled with great service. plus, according to their website, they deliver.

great burger!. i'm pretty critical when it comes to hamburgers, because im a snob and think mine are the best. that being said, these guys have a good one. i went for the texas onion straw burger, and opted for the grass fed beef. the patty was large, cooked exactly how i asked for it (medium) came with onion straws, fresh jalapenos, chimpootle mayo, and lastly the bun didnt dwarf the burger... most restaurants do this and its annoying. ive heard this place gets crouded and services is slow for dinner, but i went at lunch, sat right down and service was quick. the decor is extremely unique, and good to experience something new. will return, for sure.

the sink exceeded expectations. my father and i were travelling around central colorado, following the idea of eating at restaurants we had seen on tv. having seen the sink on the food network program "diners, drive-ins and dives" we decided to try the sink.
i ordered a cowboy reuben, which was much better than the original sandwich, with its smokey meat and tangy sauce, and coleslaw and cheese on a nicely toasted rye. with the best sweet potato fries, i have ever had. i would go back for just the fries, but really their menu is massive. the quality is really good. of our trip this was probably our favorite meal in colorado. my dad got the hamburger with bleu cheese and a salad, and really enjoyed it as well. their choice of hamburger meats and seasonings is on par with any high-end hamburger spot. great choice of local beers, quick service, and a very interesting decor.

great college town pizza. i've only been here once, just because it is really in the center of the university hill area, so parking is difficult and the low ceiling, graffiti-walled ambience isn't my cup of tea. however, the one time i did go, i had an excellent gluten free pizza that i would order again.
