the restaurant - trident hotel

we hadbuffetfrom this place during our stay in trident. thebuffetspread was extensive and diverse. also ordered few items in room and they tasted good.

i don't have enough words to express my feelings for this restaurant. in the sanskrit language "anna daataa, shukhi bhav (blessings to the one who feeds)", is all i could think of when i ate at this restaurant during our stay between 1st september 2018 till 3rd september 2018. we had breakfast twice, and abuffetdinner once. food at all times was exceptionally good, and i mean each and every item. chef eshaan personally visited us many times and asked if we liked the taste or if we wanted anything extra, and he did get some extra items which we liked a lot. my kids told me that he is the best chef. also, the service was exemplary. the service staff made us very comfortable and served a lot of hot and fresh things on our table. i must say that the service is unmatchable. the chef and the service staff pampered us so much with their excellent flavorful food and excellent service that we may not be able to forget them ever.

we stayed in the hotel for a couple of days. the breakfastbuffetwas really really nice. we also had food and snacks in the bar and really enjoyed everything!
if you're looking for very well done international cuisine, trident is a very good option!
they also have indian food of course, but we didn't try a lot indian.

the service in the restaurant (and in the hotel) is extraordinary! they make everything possible for you! everyone is polite and happy and try to do everything to make your stay just perfect!

i had organised a group lunch for my students, excellent place it is, everyone loved the food, the best part was their service. i wanted my students to learn howbuffetlunch is laid and taken care by, i found this restaurant the best place for making them see that practically. price is less and food is excellent for sure. if you would like to see our video of the same even, then just put the tourism school luncheon in youtube and the first video would show you our experience

thebuffetis lavish and worth the money. better to take tiny portions if you want to taste all what they have prepared. good layout and service.

not so amazing. although it has a good view, nice staff, good service and even the good was okay, but thebuffetspread is nor sufficient neither attractive.. drinks are overpriced..

i went to trident, agra just a day before christmas eve with my wife and kid. we had read about their restaurant alfresco, an italian one on zomato and had gone there to have good italian food. however, all guests were being seated in their multi-cuisine restaurant called la brasserie, which means ‘the restaurant’ in english. on browsing through their menu, we found that it would be better to opt for a dinnerbuffetrather than order a-la-carte.

the restaurant is a very spacious one. the best part about the layout of the restaurant is that it looks very neat and very non-crowded despite sufficient number of guests dining at that time. our attendant’s name was srishti, who was a trainee there and she made us very comfortable and served very well. she arranged for a baby chair for our kid and was thoroughly helpful. she also arranged for my wife’s phone to be charged as our charger was not working.

thebuffetwas very good. everything was very well done. i would say that i have seen more lavish buffets than this one but the preparation was far better than most of the places. thebuffethad 2 soups- veg and chicken, good dessert counter, plenty of salads, snacks, fish, indian/mughlai curries and good choice of breads. i found the fish to be cold and on informing them about it, the staff was very apologetic and came twice to say sorry for the same. i particularly liked potato wedges, chicken curry, vegetable-au-gratin, cream of chicken soup, chicken pasta salad, mushroom vegetable (since it was prepared with a twist). the person at the dessert counter himself offered to get me a gulab jamun, even though it was not on display anywhere in thebuffetmenu. i think that the dessert menu should have been a bit more elaborate considering the fact that people like to try out different desserts at such good hotels since they are prepared very well.
 
overall, a good luxurious place to have dinner with your family. cost ofbuffetper person – inr 1600.

last week, we went to taj mahal with our client and afterwards had lunch in trident. thebuffetpricing seemed reasonable, so we went withbuffetonly. although, i think there could have been more variety in the menu.

the restaurant is facing the pool and has a nice ambience. the staff is very polite and courteous, they kept us asking repeatedly if everything was fine and to our taste.

the food was pretty decent and not on a spicier side.

we tried all the usual stuff like - salad, watermelon juice, aglio olio pasta, beetroot halwa, matar pulao etc.

the besan ladoo were a bit too sweet. rest all other things were fresh and fine.

being a guest, we have thebuffetto capture.. so we tried the whole variety of an excellently selected menu with a variety that would water any hungry man's palate. the food was nice too in most parts. but the desserts were probably the best highlight of our meal. what's the adage, alls well that ends well :))

there is absolutely nothing that i didn't like about this hotel. it is a lovely property with great hospitable staffs, awesomebuffetbreakfast with widest range of food choices.

the  tridents have been upgraded but unfortunately the quality of their food here needs a wakeup call especially considering the charges !! a variety of cusines are on offer both ala carte aswell as in their buffets...oriental,italian/continental,tandoori. for tourists primarily who throng the place for lunch and dinner thebuffetis a better choice . have been to many of the tridents in other cities where quality and variety of food was much superior. the management needs to do some thing about it to make it of the standard expected of this  well known group of hotels.ambience is nice and service quite good.

i visited agra last month along with the family. we stayed at trident and ate here few times. it is an slightly above average restaurant from food perspective. spread is very limited. mostly indian food for dinner and done well but mostly for the foreign palate. the hotels seems to be a favorite haunt of foreign tour operators. breakfast was slightly better but not by much. south indian dishes like vada and idli were below average. kachauri and aloo ki sabzi were better.buffetspread is surprisingly limited - very few cold cuts, no bacon etc. although the food is average, restaurant's service is exemplary! they went out of their way to accommodate our requests and interests. they would regularly cook dishes outside thebuffetspread if we wanted to something different, for example my daughter wanted to eat pasta and it was not in thebuffetbut they cooked it for us. the entire restaurant staff led by ashutosh, took really good care of us during our stay at the hotel!
