i was glad to see the re-opened of this cafe so arranged thetimeto have brekkie here. when i approached the counter, i noticed that it serves iced vietnamese coffee so gave it a go instead of my usual merlo flat white. also, i changed to have the creamy chicken & avocado filo instead of the usual brekkie wrap.
well, the changes proved to be right after the first sip of the coffee. it was so refreshing and strong in strength. the filo did not let me down too. the fillings of chicken and avocado were very creamy.
this brekkie made my day.

today, 08 november 2017,  my friend and i went to the café about 2.20pm.  we ordered some coffee. the café supposed to be opened to 4.00 pm as advertised on the webpage.

about 2.30 the staff started to clean inside. we sat outside.  at 3.00 pm a waitress came to our table and without a word took away my unfinished coffee. i was left speechless.  they then started to clean outside with a noisy clanking of tables and metal chairs. at 3.40 pm they told us to leave. i said that i just checked on the internet that they are opened to 4.00 pm, to which the waitress replied…”this is my private business and i can do what i want”.  and we were asked to leave.  i told her that i will make sure that the situation will be mentioned in social media.

about 5.00 pm,  i saw on their facebook logging an entry from the owner that read … “sometimes we close earlier and that due to the stormy weather we closed earlier today to take the safety of the staff as a paramount to reach home before the storm”…   hahahaha i was there and the storm was nowhere close as we sat outside.  this was just a copout to pre-empt any of my comments.  great place great personnel. i’ll never go there again as i can’t recall being treated that way as a consumer.  just to add, sometimeago my friends and i went to the café about  2.30 pm and we were told that the coffee machine is already cleaned and that they will not make coffee so we left.

we've been to the pantry hq a few times now and eachtimehas been wonderful. the food is delicious and they have pretty good prices on the menu and display area. there is also a large selection of candy, cookies and jams for something to take with you afterwards.

the seating inside is better on the hot days but they have so much seating outside and it's lovely on cooler days. there's also plenty of parking and the service is friendly and super quick with the food.

actually visited this restaurant a year or so ago with a coupon. it must have changed owners because they serve byron bay coffee now & i think previously it was  di bella. inside it has the same homely feel about it with all the flowers & quirky wall hangings,  bric a brac etc. definitely different staff & the menu was different too. only called in for a coffee as i remember it was a good cup the lasttimei visited. thistimearound it was lacking strength & body with not much crema. maybe i should have had the extra shot but thought 90 cents was a tad over the top! the sweets looked very tempting especially those strawberry tarts

oh dear when you read some of the revues you would probably give the pantry a miss such a shame as i have found it really nice on all occasions i have been and have taken many people there. yes sometimes the service is a little slow the coffee is good if you want it really hot just ask i do and only on one occasion i have sent it back. the presentation is good and yes there are young staff but i haven't found them unfriendly. my only thing i would say that sometimes the food presentation in the cabinet doesn't look the greatest and a bit more variety in desert department would be good. i am going with some friends for dinner next week so will report then as it will be the firsttimei have been there at night. keep going pantry we really need you in springwood which is devoid of places and clubs to go have a coffee. dc rochedale

this cafe is in a beautiful location with a lovely atmosphere. this is my secondtimeto this cafe and the coffee has been very good both times, and i am an avid coffee drinker. i thought i would bring my friend from interstate for brunch to this cafe.
once again coffee good, but the service was average, young teenagers that don't seem friendly and very slow with our drink order, bringing out my sons milkshake after we had completely finished our meals and coffees.
i ordered eggs on toast, i pictured in my mind two delicious poached eggs on toast with some garnish. came out served as one (seemed microwave) rubber poached egg and two slices of toast. very average. my friend ordered smash avocado on rye with a side of salmon and eggs. once again very average- avocado thinner than butter smeared on toast, one microwave rubber poached egg and tinned mashed salmon complete with bones in it.
we visit many cafes in brisbane and surrounds and would recommend being more generous with your meals after all the customer is paying for it. don't microwave poach eggs and serve two instead of one. garnish goes a long way and makes a meal a bit more presentable. don't serve tinned salmon as a side. a few tweaks with your food would go a long way as this cafe serves really good coffee and has so much potential. we need good cafes in logan. thank you

very cute. had lunch here for firsttimeand the place is very quaint and quite a nice place to have breakfast/lunch. iced tea and iced coffee were delicious. blt was really nice and steak sandwich was ok. chips they serve on side are delicious chunky cut but more dipping sauce would be great.

would recommend this place if you're in the logan area and couldn't be bothered driving to west end etc.

i love my new local!. i discovered this little gem when i recently moved to the springwood area, and have never looked back! open at hours that other places in the area aren't, they remember coffee orders everytimeand offer a display cabinet full of amazing food. pastas, pastries, quiches, salads, toasties - all you could want in a deli! aside from that, my partner and i have had many cooked breakfasts there and they are always amazing.

the cafe itself is the ultimate in cute, the decorations are amazing and they are located on one side of a gorgeous queenslander which also houses a number of medical offices. the staff are lovely, the owner always up for a chat, and we are are told they are now offering sunday opening hours - most of springwood is shut on sunday so this is fantastic!

in case you're wondering, no i'm not paid to say this hah. i just think this is a fantastic local place that deserves cred, and is far better than the cafe franchises about.

i highly recommend a visit!
