friendly crowd. it's a casual dock-side bar where you can get a bite to eat and listen to music in a crowded spot. i wouldn't go there in a hurry and i wouldn't go there for the service (a bit too blond and girly). but it's a good place for a beer and a hot sandwich on a friday night. looks like a good boat stop. - suggestion - wear jeans...you'll fit in much better. it's suggested by the little theater, very casual not for gala's.

fish tacos???. wow!!! it does not sound that good, but they are amazing!!! i have had several different items and they all have been great. cold beer & waterfront view is a must dine!!!

food was great. views were great. enjoyed the dirty cajun fish sandwich. larissa was our server also and she was friendly and efficient. definitely a go to place.

great atmosphere. great food and service, i had the tuna platter yum the servers name was larissa she was prompt and very nice. the atmosphere tops everything.

oar house.... they have awesome outdoor seating... especially on the lower deck, but most of the time they have it blocked off because they don't want to put a server down there so that sucks. the food is pretty good, though some of it is a bit overpriced for what it is. sometimes the music can be a little too loud and you can't carry on a conversation. the jezebel's grill is my favorite. :)

on my no go list. i have many friends that told me i had to try the oar house. we have been on four separate occasions and were disappointed every time. the atmosphere is great but if you are looking for good service, great food at a good price this is not the place to go. on all four occasions the kitchen was horribly slow and some food came out hot and the rest cold or just warm after waiting an extremely long time. servers were either great or bad. i really hate this because it is a fun location but i refuse to pay that much for food that isn't great. ( i would like to note that after every bad experiance i filled out the comment card and was never contacted about the experiance. to me that shows managment that is not out to make customers happy.)

great location; mediocre food. tourists will love the cozy spot on bayou chico and for a drink at the bar, it's top notch. but for true seafood lovers, the limited menu and farm-raised fish just won't cut it, especially for the $12-$18 entrée price.

great atmosphere, fun bar experience!. the oar house is a great setting for bayside boozing. the food is just average, but with the view you'll hardly notice.
