huge portions. made it to naam a few months ago and they are definitely busy, and it must have to do with the potions, the prices and size of plates was for sure a good combo. but man i have never seen so many sprouts in my life! dinner was ok, about average, the best thing were the sesame wedge fries and miso gravy.

slow... servers don't seem to care about customers... been eager to try this restaurant for a while and finally got a chance. restaurant was about 2/3 full. got the menu and was waiting for a server for 10 mins. one guy came with water to our table so we told him we would like to order some food. he said, "i don't take orders. your server will be here." well... ok... our server came and we ordered a sesame fries with miso gravy, one italian melt and a dragon bowl. we waited... and waited.... for the next 35 mins neither our food nor our server reached our table.. server finally brought our appy and told us, "other dishes will come out soon." 35 mins for an appy when the restaurant is only 2/3 full... by this time it was about half empty. 3 mins later, the table behind us with 2 guests who came in 20 mins after us gets their entrée. 15 more mins, we get our entrée. server neither explains nor apologies. food was ok, but nothing very sophisticated in terms of flavour. took us nearly 2 hours to finish our lunch. what you pay at the restaurant does not only cover the cost of food, but should also include good service. it was the first visit, and it will be the last.

the one thing i had to try from their menu was the dragon bowl. it looked and sounded delicious and healthy! the lineup for naam was quite long, about 30 minutes or so, and the tables were really cramped together. trixie's chair was even broken but she managed to sit on it throughout the meal without it breaking on her.

meh. this place was okay-ish. the (vegan-ized) stuffed chapati was okay but seemed very very heavy (basically guacamole and melted diaya cheese slapped into a pita-style chapati). my husband had the rueben sandwich but didn't like it or the salad it comes with (i liked the salad). the cup of asian broth soup that i had as a side was really light and yummy though- like miso meets onion soup. the only reason that i would go back would be for more of the asian broth soup.

the service staff does everything but.... the place is well known because of it's hippydom and 24 hour policy. it'd be a shame to visit vancouver without trying the naam once but why this place is always so popular always puzzled me. the service is the slowest and rudest i've experienced in town. i would much rather recommend bandidas or the foundation in east van over this joint. last time i went their hot chocolate was not fair trade nor was any of the chocolate they use in their desserts. way to greenwash.

the naam is good for vegetarians out there, its also wonderful that it stays open 24/7! ive tried the nam bowls and they are decent but i don't see the hype over the miso gravy.. not my number one choice to go to but it does the job for a 24/7 place.

the naam is probably one of the most popular vegetarian restaurants and for good reason. front of house, vines and all give it that home-y, vegetable-focused feel the naam is a medium-sized restaurant with a really cramped opening and homely decorations. it feels quite hipster but i feel that it suits the concept of the restaurant. food-wise, the first time i went, i had one of the naam dragon bowl and i split their tuscan nachos with two other people. the second time, i had the tempeh reuben and my friend and i split a cocoa hemp ball. both experiences were great and the third time around, it was just as good. this time, i ordered the maui maui burger. it’s a veggie patty with

gone downhill.... had breakfast there (end of april) and i wish i hadn't. the potatoes were under-cooked, the faux meat was rubbery, and eggs were bland. the only positive was the service: friendly and cheerful.

the service is probably one of the worst, and there was a label sticker on my red pepper!

excellent joint for vegetarians in vancouver. it is tasty, messy, comfort food. we visited it for lunch enroute to ubc. it was perfect. the thai bowl was a bland but everything else we had (naam quesadilla, tacos, mexi bowl, shakti cake, coffee) was delicious! the portions are generous.

we had to wait for 15 mins before we could get our table but it was worth the wait.

excellent place!!! the people rock! the atmosphere is super chill, and the menu is out of this world. my boyfriend and i went here for our anniversary and were more then pleased. i had a naan burger platter and he had a sams burger platter. both were super delicious everything was fresh and very healthy. the burgers were massive and immaculate, and meat free (bonus)!!!! the sesame seed fries are a must have in vancouver, and the side salad they give you (which is comparable to a full meal) was one of the most delicious things on the plate! all and all i would go here everyday anytime of day if i could, which is actually not to impossible considering they are open 24 hours!! if your going for dinner get there early, i'm not the only one who is in love with this gem of a dining establishment!
