the mill in hershey

amazing food, service, and atmosphere. the lemon grits were simply amazing! steakcookedand seasoned perfectly. would go back again and again even with our large party of 14.

poor service. went for late lunch. wasn't busy
got seated right away. waitress took took our drink order and after some time brought them. we were ready to order but she set our drinks down and walked away. we waited about 15 more minutes for her to return for our order. when our hamburgers and mill fries arrived the burgers weren'tcookedas ordered and they were greasy. the fries were overcooked. hard on the outside and dried up on the inside. i asked for a side of mayo and our waitress never returned. i had to stop another waiter and ask for it. he got it to us within minutes. not sure if would go back. perhaps a salad would have been a wiser choice at this restaurant .

a+ food, a service. we went there on a saturday afternoon after the lunch rush but before the dinner rush. the food was excellent. my companion had the mill burger. it wascookedperfectly (well done) as requested. she indicated that it was the best burger she'd had in a decade. i had the turkey sandwich which was also very good. the hostesses and the wait staff were all upbeat and helpful. we didn't have to wait but that's probably because of the time of the day that we went.

the interior was just gorgeous. it definitely has the most character of any restaurant in hershey. the prices weren't cheap but i found them to be quite reasonable. we didn't drink any alcohol and our total bill came to about $35 which is comparable to what we spend at most descent restaurants. i strongly recommend!
