love this place or not!. we've been returning to this 'joint' for about five years (think it's only been operating for six years). this is not my favorite neighborhood for late night dining in miami.....especially considering the trendy wynwood and design district is only a few blocks away (and loaded with 'big name' places).

however, lost &foundhas a certain je ne sais quoi ne: je ne se qua about it that defies description.

only wine and beer (aacceptable selection) and a fairly extensive menu (especially considering the tiny kitchen).

k.b. the owner operator of lost & found, is a pleasant enough fellow, very approachable and very much 'hands-on' in all aspects of the enterprise. k.b. openly admits lost &foundis his 'passion' and may be not for everyone's taste.....he takes full responsibility for creation of each of the menu items!

well, lost &foundhas developed a steady stream of 'regulars' over the years and continues to attract new devotees.

the menu is truely 'all over the place' with a huge assortment of vegetarians options and a basic supply of items for meat eaters as well.

as vegetarians, we tend to go with the posse taco, vegetarian chipotle black bean burger, pinon & pepita crusted tofu and somtimes just arrive early in the day for their breakfast offerings.

maybe you should give this place a try.....love it or not, at least try it. we might see you there.

for whatever the reasons, we continue coming back and have enjoyable experiences time after time!

the lost andfoundsaloon is a wonderful hole in the wall in the art district favored by several miami hipsters and art district regulars. this small restaurant offers great southwestern/tex-mex food and it’s usually buzzing during the monthly wynwood art walk and busting at the seams during art basel. i’ve been going to the lost &foundfor about 5 years now and am a huge fan. i’ve introduced several friends to this place and have in turn made them fans; i’ve tried just about everything on the menu and have yet to find a single thing i don’t like. this place is as small as they come, with a seating space inside the restaurant of about 40 people (that’s including the bar). the dã©cor is true to the food they serve with a giant cow hide hanging on the wall (someone call peta), metal cacti over the bar and cowboy flare throughout the space. it should also be mentioned that this place does not have a full bar. it does, however, offer a nice mix of various b
