one of the last things i had expected to have in st. louis was high tea, but thankfully, my friend suggested that we go to the london tearoomto celebrate her birthday! this cute establishment was started up by two british ladies, and it’s the perfect place to stop by for just a pot of high quality tea in the cafe or an afternoon outing for high tea in a casual setting.
when the tiered plates of sandwiches and pastries were brought out, my eyes were immediately drawn to the colorful top tier of sweets. they looked so delicate i didn’t even know which one to begin with! each perfect pastry complemented my earl grey tea, but if i go again, i would be a bit more adventurous and go for the famous naughty vicar black tea.
