enjoyed this littleplacewhich is tucked away down a side alley in the west end of glasgow. the walls are amusingly decorated with a multiplicity of cycling paraphernalia.

the ox cheek was fantastic as was the sticky chicken. the carrot salad was less successful. overall the flavours were slightly muted.

the waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. would recommend.

a must goplacein glasgow if you are vietnamese, especially a hanoian when the decoration here makes you feel like home. the food was excellent, however you shouldn’t put sprout in phở bò for northern people. the cafe sữa đá was exceptional, shout out to anyone could make that coffee.

its two years since my first visit to the hanoi bike shop.   i failed to return because the first time around, it did not leave much of a lasting impression.   given the benefit of the doubt, i attributed it to teething issues with most new openings. glad to say things have vastly improved and i was impressed by some of the regular offerings.   bearing in mind, this wouldn’t be theplaceto be seeking out the holy grail of phos in scotland.  however, some of the items on the menu actually reminded me how international cuisines when done from a different cultural perspective can be a tantalising offering.   ca thu va kimchi ginger & mango dressed mackerel with kimchi, beansprout & herb salad strong taste of mackerel  was lifted by the nice acidity of a very “fusion” kimchi , beansprout and herb salad.   nice touch of a mango fish sauce dressing that lended a nice saltiness and sweetness to the dish. only qualm was that the kimchi was rather sour. me dau phu tofu with sesame seeds & red

realy enjoyed the food here - fresh and tasty. i follow a gluten- free diet and there are plenty of options to choose from. we skipped desert and just had a coffee at the end of our meal which was fantastic...it's made with condensed milk and is sweet as a result! i would recommend to anyone to give thisplacea try!

a bit of a tet offensive. to be fair i dont usually like this type of food but the wife does and the eldest child, but it was easter and so i thought why not .

firstly the staff were lovely and tried hard ,the decor was interesting but the smell when you entered was like a soiled dish rag ,

the food itself was disappointing ,the ingredients were fresh and of good quality ,just not altogether.

it was bland and under seasoned yet over flavored and ended up like a pot of broth over flavoured with pot pouri .

worst of all it wasnt cheap, no ten dolla special here, 4 of us got stung for £75 ,no alcohol, two courses

i suspect it wont last and only the die hards will go back ,you know people who think they are foodies or students trying to relive their gap year to bore their mates

i have eaten there when it was a burgerplacethen stravagian 2 ,both were better.

i expected nothing and was still disappointed .

overall a little hanoiing

was ok. had lunch at thisplacerecently. was ok. had their tofu and also the pho. have to say the pho was pretty bland and forgettable, despite them providing a plate of asian spices and a jar of chilli oil to tang it up. desserts were absolutely lovely though and i think they are stronger in their desserts than their main courses. if you don't like the smell of fish there is a slight pong of it from the fish sauce on the tables but you'll get used to it. will pop back some time but no rush.

can't wait to come back!. been hearing lots of reviews about the hanoi bike shop so we decided to make an impromptu visit tuesday 30th oct. theplacewas packed which was a good sign for a week night to me. we were seated really quickly and the girl on the door made us feel welcome. our server was really pleasant and knew everything about the menu. our food came out quickly, and was delicious. we had chicken skewers which were perfectly seasoned; spring rolls which were delicate and delicious; the beef stew which was packed with flavour and the classic phu which was nice but probably our least favourite out of our meal as the flavour slightly lacked, it was still completely worthy of devouring!! we finished with a coffee with condensed milk which was lovely!! the atmosphere was brilliant and felt really lively and welcoming. the decor is great too and there is plenty to observe. i did find there was a lot of waitresses running around for such a small place, and it did take us a while to get anyone's attention for the bill/our coffees/to clear our table - however i understand how tough it is working somewhere very busy with a lot going on so these things are easy to happen, and also easy to rectify. the food was lovely, the vibe was excellent, the staff were friendly and smiley and we are looking forward to returning!!
