i came to the green edge forlunchyesterday and everything was delicious!
i had the lasagna (so cheesy!), my partner had the mac n cheese and we shared the satay tofu as an entree/side.
both of the mains came with a piece of garlic bread and side salad. we also each got a smoothie and had a stroll around the grocery section after we finished eating.
highly recommend! 😊

this cafe was is a great place for brekky andlunchand has a great atmosphere to it. staff were really friendly and it was quite busy when i got there.
there is a nice amount of seating inside and outside depending on what you like.
my food came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was which was great. they definitely don’t shy away from large portions so you won’t be disappointed by size when you order from here.
i ordered the jackfruit burger and it was packed with pulled jackfruit and other yummy ingredients.
was deceivingly filling but tasty.
afterwards i ordered a choc chip cookie on the way out and it was the best cookie i have ever had. if you like soft cookies (sort of like subway cookies) you will love this. was so yummy, not too sweet and but soft and delicious. going to have to go back and grab another.
there is a shop within the cafe which has a great range of health food options and gadgets too.
highly recommend this place because they have an option for everyone and the food looks and tastes great.

have been coming here for years, a great go to spot for breaky,lunchor dinner. pancakes are so fluffy and such a great size. grocer section is also so handy although quite expensive. great vegan egg as well. they also do great nachos. a large variety of vegan meets and cheeses. service is always fantastic
second visit: disappointed. burgers no longer come with fries, are quite small and nothing specific. the carbonara was not a cream sauce rather watery, bland and just tasted mildly of mushrooms.

we ordered the big breakfast and it was 😍 soooo delicious! from scrambled tofu to smokey strips (which were bomb), this dish was a feast for the eyes and taste buds.

it had a little bit of everything which was nice, and on top of that it was only $25 for two people. whaaaat. but we did add mushrooms because felt it wouldn't be enough food. it was decently sized so if you are a big eater (and sharing) best to add a couple of extras.

so much more i wanted to try out but alas! i had to save room forlunchwhich was only around the corner. they also have a menu for dinner as well, so many burgers to choose from! 🍔

a first for everything and today i ventured into this vegan cafe, walked in with a open mind and was blown away by the experience - i am absolutely returning for breakfast. had to pick from thelunchmenu. ordered second coffee for the day, no full cream, thats fine so soy milk it was, didnt know what to expect but pleasantly suprised when it came out. the soy tasted alot lighter then full cream and because of the sweetness of the soy it cut through some of the strength of the coffee but such a fantastic coffee. for mains i decided to get the spaghetti 'meatballs' - this to was a fantastic change and because the 'meatballs' were made from chickpeas and lentils they were a little dry but the sauce and spaghetti that accompanied them was light and not drowning in sauce. portion size and price for this little cafe is brillant and perfect for families.

this cafe also doubles as a vegan convenience store and the prices in this section are a little on the pricey side but fits in perfectly with the cafe. the staff here are lovely, work well and efficiently considering how busy this cute little cafe was. i will be back - thank you for a great meal.

a 100% vegan menu!!!! sandwiches, burgers and a few pasta and risotto options. delicious! friendly staff, though but took 40 minutes to get our food, probably because we showed up at 11am right on the cross over between the breakfast andlunchmenu times. we will be back though! was so good to not have to spend extra time going through what i could and could have and asking they could modify things for me. we will be back!
the vegan grocer was a treat, too!

green edge, i love you!. i frequent here for breakfast/lunch and a little bit of grocery shopping. such a wonderful place with such a fantastic vegan menu and to die for smoothies! great staff and service too. i recommend this place to everyone. one recommendation though, preferably visit for breakfast or lunch, i went there once for dinner and some options on the menu were unavailable as they were "out" it also took a long time for our meal to come out compared to the hasty breakfastlunchservice i usually receive. still, i give here a 10/10 .

simply awesome. this place must be one of brisbanes best kept secrets. went there forlunchinitially and ended going back several times! top tip - forlunchtry the veg burger and milkshake. for brekkie try a smoothie with avo on toast or pancakes mmmmmhhhhh :) the coffee is great too... didn't realise vegan food was so scrumptious...

a must. there is never a day that i am not in the mood to eat at the green edge, from breakfast and coffee to a massivelunchwith a milkshake. eat here! you will not be disappointed :)

strange attitude - poor service. after ordering and waiting some time the waitress came out and appologised for the wait and stated that the oven was broken - however they fixed it and our meals will come out soon. annoyed thay did not tell us earlier so we did not have the choice to leave or change the order...

then when i went to pay the chef said how was your meals? i said fine accept the wait was ofcourse a little annoying. he started getting defencive and attacked me stating 'where can you eat thats faster?' and that >30min wait forlunchis normal there. but he never mentioned the stove issue?!?!

so kind of strange. i would never come back - however food was ok (nothing special)..

sadly there was no food at the green edge. i popped in forlunchafter checking the website and found a sign saying that due to a hole in the ceiling they can't make burgers. such a shame for the business. the person working there didn't smile or greet us as we perused the shop either. lots of pre packed fake meats and vegan cheese.
