a must. there is never a day that i am not in the mood to eat at the green edge, from breakfast and coffee to a massive lunch with a milkshake. eat here! you will not be disappointed :)

food: the big brekkie i had was rather burnt. but the chips were good.

drink: coffee lacked design.

service: excellent

left hungry but poorer. my veggie burger (for lunch) arrived without any bread roll (or any bread whatsoever). it was just a lentil patty in a cereal bowl with some onions on top and surrounded by green salad leaves. costing $14 dollars, this was way over priced and very disappointing. i left hungry and went home to make myself some lunch.

great food. went there for lunch. hot chocolate was best i've ever tasted and chips were the best i've had in a long while. my husband loved his spaghetti with sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts. i had a tofu burger. only criticism i could make was that, although the tofu had good texture, it was thick which made it a little bland. however, the topping was very tasty. the servings were a good size also.

great vegan food. a rare gem in among all the mediocre vegan places in brisbane! went here for breakfast and very impressed. the big breakfast is very filling, tasty and service excellent. will definitely come here again.

thanks sarah!. came into green edge the other day to get some vegetarian food and was very pleased to get some lovely service from the girl with the purple fringe, said her name was sarah. being a newbie, it was good to talk to someone friendly

only the best place...ever!. i have been a vegan for over a year now and i have dined out a lot since becoming one. it is the most refreshing thing to be able to go to a restaurant and not have to explain what i can and can't eat and pull a part a meal until i know its 100% vegan. the green edge has to be the most amazing food, and i am not just saying that because it's vegan. the food is tastier than anything i ate before becoming vegan, the staff are friendly and fast and it is reasonably priced. i bow down to the food gods every time i eat there. i recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an amazing meal :)

amazing. i went for a friend's birthday (she being vegan) and initially i was a bit skeptical because it was a vegan place and i'm a huge meat eater but mother of god it was delicious. i ordered a vege fettucine and it was just so so so so good. best pasta - vege or not - i've had in a long time. a few friends ordered milkshakes and i tried all of them: extremely tasty. it's a bit too far from where i live but given the chance, i would go all the time

diana. what a great little cafe this is, laid back, friendly & vegetarian. even my non vego friend loved the burgers here! they are huge, tasty & good for you to boot! the chips that are served with them are chunky hand cut pieces of gold too. i enjoyed a great penne pasta dish which was rich with organic tomatoes & herbs & so filling. about the only bad thing i have to comment on is the coffee-whilst it might rock some peoples boats it was not for me, not my kind of flavour hit sorry. the little shop inside the cafe has multitudes of organic goodies to browse away at & purchase of course

i came here with my husband and our two young daughters (one of which suffers from shyness and anxiety), and a wonderful lady with blue hair served out family. she took it into her hands to make our shy daughter feel welcome, and made our daughter her first ever spider, beautifully. topped with pink sprinkles, chocolate pieces, love hearts and the waitress even came back to the table to ask her what her favorite colour is! my daughter mentioned she wants a sister like her! made our day, thank you so much green edge. 10/10 service, never felt so special. -maria

service. poor service. really poor service.

strange attitude - poor service. after ordering and waiting some time the waitress came out and appologised for the wait and stated that the oven was broken - however they fixed it and our meals will come out soon. annoyed thay did not tell us earlier so we did not have the choice to leave or change the order...

then when i went to pay the chef said how was your meals? i said fine accept the wait was ofcourse a little annoying. he started getting defencive and attacked me stating 'where can you eat thats faster?' and that >30min wait for lunch is normal there. but he never mentioned the stove issue?!?!

so kind of strange. i would never come back - however food was ok (nothing special)..

amazing!. "good.... for vegan food." is the biggest downplay ever, the meals at the green edge are amazing full stop. the shop is a gem for the vegan community, and so much effort goes into the meals so that they are presented as beautifully as they are delicious.
i'm a vegan of 6 years and i can safely assure you that the burgers here are the best around (their homemade veggie patties = heaven).
the staff are always so friendly and in the new building the atmosphere is so welcoming and lovely you want to just stick around!
so very excited for any new developments here.
