one of the happening places in town. it has a good ambience and an amazing staff. thisplacehad an amazing live band. one could always enjoy with friends and family.

superbplacefor drinks and dine, had a joyful time with live music. our waiter ‘saurabh’ was prompt at his service and took real good care despite the crowd. must visitplaceto chill though reserving a table in advance is highly recommended.

a clutter-breaking outlet with a filtered crowd amidst the hustle of the mall road. very good food and amazing quantity as per the money. the interior is a blend of quaint yet modern decor with a mesmerising view. the live music in the evening is a bonus. theplaceis owned by apparently a cool dude from mussorie who also owns the cafe ivy at landour. one can have some fun conversation if he is around at the time of your visit. i and my sister had an absolute great time during our visit to glen.

such a warmplaceit is for winters . great bollywood music . one of the happening places in mussorie . they have elaborated menu for food n drinks . pasta was lil over spicy which could have been better . non veg platter was superb and drinks as always per served perfectly

i visited the glen with 6 other people ( age 16-26) as we all wanted to try a newplacein mussoorie and the reviews of the restaurant was 4+ online on zomato which was pretty amazing.
as soon as we entered theplacethere were several tables that were vacant (time : around 8 pm on a friday night) so we went onto take the table that could accommodate all 7 of us.
as soon as we sat down (literally 5 seconds) the waiter comes up to tell us that the “minimum bill requirement is of ₹8000/“
upon hearing such extravagant condition we left at that time.
to my surprise there was no such condition mentioned either on their board outside the premises nor at any online site (google, zomato)
i read a few reviews on zomato (which i didn’t pay heed to earlier) mentioning the conditions such as “will serve only if you consume alcohol” and “asking if they would consume alcohol”
then i was pretty sure their conditions change for every customer and instead of refusing them to serve (which can be really derogatory for their business) they simply put different conditions so that the customer leave on their own.
would never recommend such aplaceto anyone. infact there are other places which not only have live music, good food and a humble staff but has an overall good positive vibe (tried and tested)

a fantasticplacenestled between the commercial mall road. absolutely had a gala time for its live music kept me engaged for the 4 hours i sat there. good food and superb ambience. highly recommend.

my partner and i tried entering thisplaceon a weekend evening only to be asked "qualifying" questions like "is it just the two of you - stags only?", and "will you consume alcohol"? i'd imagine that we've gone past the days when bars and dining places would assume a female member accompanying a bunch of guys as a sign of them not being potential troublemakers! anyhow.. once the bouncer seemed convinced that we weren't one of those troublemakers we were allowed in and seated.

moving on to the food : we ordered a strawberry banana smoothie, a mezze platter and a liit. the smoothie wasn't made of yogurt.. it had milk *eyeroll*. there was no banana, and the strawberry seemed to be coming from a cheap strawberry icecream. so yeah, it was an icecream shake. the liit didn't have any punch. the mezze platter items - falafel and spinach samosas were all sub-par.

the music - was extremely loud and imposing for a hole-in-the-wallplacesuch as that. nothing against the performers, but acoustics and sound need to be managed much better when you have a tiny shack such as this, and there's no breathing room.

the service was below average too - we didn't even get the water bottle that we ordered and it was still included in the bill. we had to explicitly call for it to be removed.

overall, we managed to wrap up our meal and get out of thisplaceas quickly as we could. there are way better places on mall road where i'd recommend you go for an enjoyable evening - this isn't one of them!

live music, drinks and good food makes thisplacea must go in mussorie! the vibe was amazing! we ordered soya chaap masala, which was delicious! roganjosh was good but not the best! overall a niceplaceto visit

thisplaceis known for its live music than for its food...
unfortunately the lead singer has got the fame into his head!
from being a crowd pleaser he has become one arrogant party pooper.
owners should realise, theplaceis with the crowd not without the crowd!!
hope they get the message loud n clear!

thisplacewasn't in my plan but however i ended up going to it looking at the ambience and seating arrangements. i mean if you honestly consider who wouldn't wanna go here for a couple of drinks and food after a good walk on the road that too on a good sunny afternoon with a view of dehradun to look at! however, things are not always as they seem, here's how it went for me.

i enter theplaceand notice about 4-5 men standing at the reception totally unbothered and unwelcoming, i take it casually. then after taking a look at the ambience i decided to sit on a table close to the door that went to the balcony. well it was not the best choice i made because guess what? the washroom was located right next to it and what's worse? the strong whiff that came with the blowing wind. i almost threw up. :)

then, i decided to complain but by then the door was closed and the smell had gone. so, i instantly took to ordering food since i was hungry in my head and after a good 25 mins of waiting came my food. however, it wasn't just food that was served to me but dusty plates and cutlery along with it which i ended up wiping with the tissue. now comes the food,

1. dahi kebab: decently prepared, the quality too was impressive. soft, creamy and the right anount of spices with a good coat of crunch. i'll give it a good 3.5 on 5 including the presentation.

2. bbq chicken wings: in all honestly, i'll give it a 3 on 5. i'll admit that the sauce was finger licking good and even the quantity was fair enough. however the drawback was that the chicken stank to me. now this is highly something that only i experienced. you know how chicken just smells, especially old frozen-thawed chicken. on the other hand, it wasn't the case with the person i went. the other person found it decent.

3. drinks: cosmopolitan & mojito cocktail
not the best cocktails, i'd rather take a coke next time if i end up going there. i ended up paying price for something that wasn't even decent enough to be called a cocktail. it more or less tasted like a mocktail with little or no alcohol. highly sweetened too!

what next? i decided to call for the cheque and run away!

but yes, if i have to list some positives for theplacethey'd be:
1. the ambience: the ambience is more or less like a restro-pub with a space for live band to perform which is very rare in mussorie. i'm assuming that hopefully thisplacelooks better in the night with music and people.

2. the range of menu is also something you don't easily find at a local cafe/restaurant in the hills.

3. the location too honestly, this cafe is located right opposite to chick-chocolate so let's say right in the centre! it definately won't take you long to spot it.

tandoorichic highly recommends: staff training and hygiene.

one of the best restro cafe in mussoorie to enjoy night life. you can just spend some quality time with your loved ones here with amazing veg/ non veg food, mocktails & cocktails 🍹 and some good live music.

haven’t seen such a cafe or a restaurant in almost all hill stations i have been with such lovely music, lovely crowd, exquisite food & the owners taking personal efforts to make their guests seated and comfortable.

guess mohit mittal has a great passion towards running thisplacewhich makes it so warm and best.

would highly recommend anybody visiting mussoorie to ensure that thisplaceis visited once during dinner time with your friends, loved ones or even family to shake a leg or two while enjoying the brilliant food they serve.

if you really want to enjoy some live music with friends or group. i will suggest thisplace. really goodplacelocated in the heart of city. tried the tandoori chicken . it tasted ‘not that bad’. the ambience is cosy and bright . i liked the smoking area which has a good view. the price is also reasonable and not to expensive.

thisplacewas a knight in the shining armour for us! what an awesomeplacewith an awesome view! had the best meal in mussoorie here. ps. the live music was also really ear pleasing.

the most amazing thing is the live music with delicious food .. i love this place... theplaceand the view from the cafe is also mesmerizing.
