one of the happening places in town. it has agoodambience and an amazing staff. this place had an amazing live band. one could always enjoy with friends and family.

superb place for drinks and dine, had a joyful time with live music. our waiter ‘saurabh’ was prompt at his service and took realgoodcare despite the crowd. must visit place to chill though reserving a table in advance is highly recommended.

a clutter-breaking outlet with a filtered crowd amidst the hustle of the mall road. verygoodfood and amazing quantity as per the money. the interior is a blend of quaint yet modern decor with a mesmerising view. the live music in the evening is a bonus. the place is owned by apparently a cool dude from mussorie who also owns the cafe ivy at landour. one can have some fun conversation if he is around at the time of your visit. i and my sister had an absolute great time during our visit to glen.

i visited the glen with 6 other people ( age 16-26) as we all wanted to try a new place in mussoorie and the reviews of the restaurant was 4+ online on zomato which was pretty amazing.
as soon as we entered the place there were several tables that were vacant (time : around 8 pm on a friday night) so we went onto take the table that could accommodate all 7 of us.
as soon as we sat down (literally 5 seconds) the waiter comes up to tell us that the “minimum bill requirement is of ₹8000/“
upon hearing such extravagant condition we left at that time.
to my surprise there was no such condition mentioned either on their board outside the premises nor at any online site (google, zomato)
i read a few reviews on zomato (which i didn’t pay heed to earlier) mentioning the conditions such as “will serve only if you consume alcohol” and “asking if they would consume alcohol”
then i was pretty sure their conditions change for every customer and instead of refusing them to serve (which can be really derogatory for their business) they simply put different conditions so that the customer leave on their own.
would never recommend such a place to anyone. infact there are other places which not only have live music,goodfood and a humble staff but has an overallgoodpositive vibe (tried and tested)

a fantastic place nestled between the commercial mall road. absolutely had a gala time for its live music kept me engaged for the 4 hours i sat there.goodfood and superb ambience. highly recommend.

this place wasn't in my plan but however i ended up going to it looking at the ambience and seating arrangements. i mean if you honestly consider who wouldn't wanna go here for a couple of drinks and food after agoodwalk on the road that too on agoodsunny afternoon with a view of dehradun to look at! however, things are not always as they seem, here's how it went for me.

i enter the place and notice about 4-5 men standing at the reception totally unbothered and unwelcoming, i take it casually. then after taking a look at the ambience i decided to sit on a table close to the door that went to the balcony. well it was not the best choice i made because guess what? the washroom was located right next to it and what's worse? the strong whiff that came with the blowing wind. i almost threw up. :)

then, i decided to complain but by then the door was closed and the smell had gone. so, i instantly took to ordering food since i was hungry in my head and after agood25 mins of waiting came my food. however, it wasn't just food that was served to me but dusty plates and cutlery along with it which i ended up wiping with the tissue. now comes the food,

1. dahi kebab: decently prepared, the quality too was impressive. soft, creamy and the right anount of spices with agoodcoat of crunch. i'll give it agood3.5 on 5 including the presentation.

2. bbq chicken wings: in all honestly, i'll give it a 3 on 5. i'll admit that the sauce was finger lickinggoodand even the quantity was fair enough. however the drawback was that the chicken stank to me. now this is highly something that only i experienced. you know how chicken just smells, especially old frozen-thawed chicken. on the other hand, it wasn't the case with the person i went. the other person found it decent.

3. drinks: cosmopolitan & mojito cocktail
not the best cocktails, i'd rather take a coke next time if i end up going there. i ended up paying price for something that wasn't even decent enough to be called a cocktail. it more or less tasted like a mocktail with little or no alcohol. highly sweetened too!

what next? i decided to call for the cheque and run away!

but yes, if i have to list some positives for the place they'd be:
1. the ambience: the ambience is more or less like a restro-pub with a space for live band to perform which is very rare in mussorie. i'm assuming that hopefully this place looks better in the night with music and people.

2. the range of menu is also something you don't easily find at a local cafe/restaurant in the hills.

3. the location too honestly, this cafe is located right opposite to chick-chocolate so let's say right in the centre! it definately won't take you long to spot it.

tandoorichic highly recommends: staff training and hygiene.

the music isgoodand the food is fine... one must definately come here for the live music

one of the best restro cafe in mussoorie to enjoy night life. you can just spend some quality time with your loved ones here with amazing veg/ non veg food, mocktails & cocktails 🍹 and somegoodlive music.

live music every night and a amazing pub atmosphere. well designed seating arrangement.goodmenu options for food and drinks. try falafel if you are a vegetarian. piazza base was bit disappointing.

if you really want to enjoy some live music with friends or group. i will suggest this place . reallygoodplace located in the heart of city. tried the tandoori chicken . it tasted ‘not that bad’. the ambience is cosy and bright . i liked the smoking area which has agoodview. the price is also reasonable and not to expensive.

the food here is amazing, everything we ordered was just too good. this place’s food is sogoodthat it can give competition to any restaurant in delhi. we ordered pasta, red thai curry, chicken steak and pan fried chicken noodles, all of the dishes were just amazing. beautiful ambience, and they also have live music. its a must try when you are in mussoorie.

if you want to have a litt night in mussorrie this is the place to be. this place is know for it's live music. infact i just happened to be walking outside when i heard someone preforming old hindi classics and the performance was soogoodthat i had to go inside. ambience and vibe is just perfect here. they entertain song recommendations too!!

now coming to the food- everything was just spectacular. the malai kebab was one of the best i've ever had. the manchow soup was a little too bland for my taste but wasgoodenough to warm me up in the chilly weather.
we had a pasta like, which cooked to perfection and tasted great.

the place is a little too pricey for hill station standards but worth every penny. we did not drink alcohol but it looked like they servedgooddrinks as well.

being in mussoorie , we were searching for agoodcoffee when we heard some live music being played here , we decided to hit this place!

we ordered cappuccino and red sauce pasta .
both were pretty amazing .
the ambience of place is lit 🔥
live music added to it .
people were having fun .

will hit it again when i come back to mussoorie!

located at the mall road, this is a nice place to visit with your friends.goodfood and the live music combination was agoodexperience here.not a fan of live music but artists here were really talented.
