went here and had food and a few drinks, up until this point everything was great - food was amazing, drinks were good and our first waitress was very friendly and speedy.
then we ordered a drink with a different waitress and that's when things got weird. after the last drink we asked for the bill and paid, the second waitress came up and asked us if we've paid and we said yes, we assumed the last drink would be on the slip as we don't know the prices of all the drinks because they're not on the menu.
so apparently it wasn't and the second waitress asked us to pay which we were happy to - but we also wanted to look at the first receipt just for our own peace of mind, we weren't disputing what she said.
the waitress got very terse and defensive after this and kept telling us she had charged us on a different slip for the last drink. we understood what she said, we just wanted to see the initial slip because a lot of the prices of drinks aren't on the menu.
she didn't end up producing the initial slip - and like i said, we weren't disputing what she said happened, we just wanted to look at the slip.
she spoke down to us as if we didn't understand what she was saying, even though we did and were willing to pay - we just wanted a final look at the slip.
we weren't fighting with her at all but she got defensive very quickly for whatever reason. we were very polite and spoke to her without any anger in our voices. we weren't looking to start a fight.
anyway, we paid and left because we didn't feel like fighting with a defensive person who was speaking down to us and repeating the same thing and not willing to understand what we were saying.
at the start of the evening, we were actually very impressed with everything but by the end we felt put off by the place. maybe some patience needs to be learned by the staff?
