best breakfast ever. i have been a chef for 15 years now. my sister and i went in there and i only have two things to say: they have a brass monkey on the menu and the duck confit (double order of course) was amazingly priced and amazingly good. i wish them the best of luck and i will eat there every time i am in c-town period!!!!!

amazing breakfast cafe! they were super friendly, quick service, and incredible service- all in this very difficult time! made my heart so happy that they were able to make a dairy-free version of the cinnamon roll pancake for my son with a severe allergy. first time ever he’s been able to eat a pancake at a restaurant. can’t recommend enough!!

great breakfast, enjoyable coffee,  homey facility, and pleasant service. can't add much about the food that hasn't already been said in the previous reviews...just go here. you will not be disappointed.

yum!! can't go wrong with anything you get here, as far as eggs go. delightful and not too heavy but plenty filling! great coffee from bumper crop.

food was super fresh, very nice staff, and everything was delicious. i had the duck sausage breakfast sandwich and it was so good. loved it.

waited excessively long to be seated. multiple wait staff ignored us and we eventually left and went to the breakfast nook. much better food and service. won't be going back to this poorly run overpriced joint.

our new favorite place to eat. i highly recommend the stuffed french toast and the biscuits and gravy. i wish they were open 24/7. all farm fresh food

best breakfast  in cda.   great feel , great service and reasonable price.  the specials are always good.  love the rosemary toast and lemon currant topping.

small busy place for breakfast. it can be a bit of a wait but the ladies who own/run it are very attentive. great service friendly staff excellent. potatoes sometimes overlooked is the only thing i would improve. scrambles and on letters are the best anywhere. great coffee, bread and lemon custard. my favorite place for breakfast.

do not miss this joint!. while in coeur d alene on business we had breakfast here twice. it was all great. my husband had the buckwheat pancakes with blueberries. twice. amazing. i had the biscuits and gravy, and tried the in house cured corned beef. wow! the next day i had the green eggs and ham. outstanding. local ham steak, pesto eggs, rosemary toast with homemade lemon curd and berry preserves. oh boy! i loved it all. clean with quich efficient, friendly service.

best corned beef on the planet. the garnet café has the best corned beef i have ever eaten. it’s cured on the premises. their corned beef hash is heavenly. also delicious is their green eggs and ham (pesto poached eggs and ham).

their breakfasts are the best we’ve eaten in the spokane/cda area. the service is good; the prices are reasonable; the portions are large. be sure to get to there early on weekends or you will have to wait for to be seated. the garnet café is a local favorite.

absolutely our favorite place!! such good food! i have tried almost everything, but my favorite is any omelet with goat cheese. the bonner is excellent! love it! they have great coffee too. (that's a big deal to me)

lovely garnet!. have been to the garnet a handful of times now but have put off writing a review until now. as the previous reviewers have said, the food is wonderful. it is a great place to get the old standbys of french toast, oatmeal, pancake, waffle etc... but also has incredible things to try that are outside of the usuals (must try the spaghetti w/egg!) i will echo the voices of the many reviewers who have raved about the rosemary toast with lemon curd and the fabulous (& interesting!) drink choices but the best thing about the garnet & the thing prompting me to write a review is the propitious staff. the ladies serving at the garnet are so perfect for the job & always a joy to do business with. great job garnet!

i am a corned beef hash fanatic and have eaten it at restaurants and cafes all over the united states. without question, that served at the garnet cafe is the best i have ever eaten. my wife enjoyed the smoked salmon omelette, which was outstanding as well. in addition, their homemade toast accompanied with jam and lemon curd were a nice touch. our breakfast visit was truly an outstanding dining experience! we are anxious to try other choices on their menu.

this place is definitely a hidden gem! it is a little cafe that is supplied by a local farm for much of its veggies and pork.

the staff is very friendly and courteous. the service was fast. i had the special which was a bacon, mushroom, asparagus and goat cheese omelet which was tasty. the other reviews of the lemon curd spread are correct. you need to try it.
