yum! great sandwiches. not too big. all about the flavour. i had the corned beef and it came with a lentil salad. not big on lentils but it was really nice. only local produce. gotta love that

interesting flavor combos. five of us dined on saturday...all in agreement...great flavor combos! the crispy brussel sprouts salad and the lamb chop entree were favorites. the beef cheeks and the pimento cheese beignets were wonderful...a twist on traditional southern food :)

scallops and lamb chops were superb! the pork belly pop tarts were a great start. the service was excellent.

sunday brunch at farm house. this is the first time we had eaten at the farm house. the food had some interesting and delicious twists. my husband had the pancakes with steen syrup. it was delicious. 3 pancakes- nice sized. anything else is extra.
i had the farm house breakfast. the grits again had an unusual twistin i that they were cheesy with maybe a bit of savory salty meat. i wish they had been hot instead of barely warm. the country ham was unusual and delicious. the biscuit was good as well. again, a different texture than ordinary buttermilk biscuits. the coffee is just love coffee out of murfreesboro. it is simply the best! we were asked if we needed anything else, although we were never offered coffee refills. i lov e the idea of having food that is local. i belong to a couple of csa's and buy most meat directly from the farmer so i know good clean food. i think the font desk could be a bit more welcoming. valet parking is great! overall a good experience.

i used to tell people that if they wanted good food in nashville, they should avoid downtown near broadway.  lately, i've been discovering there's more and more to offer in the area, especially as the sobro neighborhood continues to grow: the farm house is one of the good ones.

amazing and a breath of fresh air from chains. had tickets to the symphony and was recommended to this place. hands down it was so delicious. fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. had the short rib and companion had the kale salad. hands down it was a great experience

trendy not tasty. we ate there on a recommendation but found the food to be over salted and over priced. our server wasn't very interested in his customers. i emailed them with my observations a week ago using their websites contact page and they have not responded. don't guess they care about repeat business.

went to the farmhouse for the first time for sunday brunch. the menu is limited but i love and understand the farm to table concept so that was all good. our table had the farmhouse breakfast, pancakes, oj and coffee. we were seated for 5 or 6 minutes before anyone greeted us. however our server was quite friendly and explained that he had been attempting to fix the coffee machine which was broken. no coffee for brunch. the food was good, the grits excellent. the service on the other hand was terrible. it seemed as though the entire restaurant was severely understaffed. we had to ask for basic items more than once and often more than 2 and 3 times. we ran out of all drinks more than once. while we were seated at our table, two different tables got up and left because they had waited too long with no one coming to the table. the restaurant was not busy- 2 larger tables and a handful - 4 or 5 other tables of two people. our server was very pleasant but paying $14 for two eggs, ham, a biscuit and grits i expect better service.

fantastic! the drinks. apitizers, staff and local unque selection made it one of the best meals i've had in a long time.
this is now one of my favorite restaurants in nashville !!!!!

...i was thoroughly impressed with the farm house. their food options were just different enough from competitors to keep my interest, and they were darn good. the inside of the farm house, you guessed it, looks like a barn. lots of exposed unfinished/refurbished barn wood and warm colors abound. even the private dining rooms had an actual sliding barn door. there was a

so disappointed in the service, the food was good but spoiled by the slow service and getting our order wrong

bad service, terrible manager, good food.. the food was well prepared and seasoned to perfection. the bbq biscuits were delicious and everyone in our group raved about the food. what's unfortunate is the service left much to be desired. the server was friendly but very aloof and uneducated as to menu specifics. our orders were brought out wrong on three occasions. the server never apologized and we contacted the manager. the manager was rude, refused to correct the issues, and seemed to care less. i have received better service than this at fast food chains. this place had potential but needs to come under new management for it to actually florish. i will never go back which is a shame as i really wanted to like the farm house.

i was very impressed. the chef is creative. dishes were unique and full of different flavored. the chicken and shrimp and grits were outstanding.
