11/9/2014 1 comment considering i turned 21 when i was already living in sf., i haven’t really experienced much of the l.a. night scene. in celebration of my birthday, i chose the edison bar as i have been meaning to go for some time. the shut-up-and-give-it-to-me-quick version: orgasmic! i realize the word doesn’t apply to bars, but it was agreatexperience. very different, with a unique vibe, good food and burlesque dancers. they enforce a dress code: men must be in dress shoes and collared shirts and women must be nicely dressed.
