will definitely return. the edison is quite possibly the most beautiful space i have ever seen in los angeles. the design is incredible...

after we smoked hookah i asked the server to take us to the bar. which she led us through a book shelf (so cool). then we were faced with many doors and had to figure out which one the bar was behind. pretty fun experience. once you walk in you see a dimly lit space with marble tables and gold accents. i loved the whole aesthetic.

this place is a personal favorite of mine, with the delicious food exotic drinks and soothing music time passes very quickly. the shangai wings is my first choice with a couple of drinks. in the drinks section i find the mistress and black magic mind blowing.

the edison is one of the my favorite bar in downtown los angeles, many variety drinks available

11/9/2014 1 comment   considering i turned 21 when i was already living in sf., i haven’t really experienced much of the l.a. night scene. in celebration of my birthday, i chose the edison bar as i have been meaning to go for some time. the shut-up-and-give-it-to-me-quick version: orgasmic! i realize the word doesn’t apply to bars, but it was a great experience. very different, with a unique vibe, good food and burlesque dancers. they enforce a dress code: men must be in dress shoes and collared shirts and women must be nicely dressed.

cool laidback lounge. yummy drinks. beautiful vibe and decor. very trendy. i like. dress code required so come in your best outfit.

the most beautiful place ever! i love the music and environment! the food is awesome and the service is wonderful. i will be visiting often and sharing with friends and family!!!

before coming to edison, i've never been to a lounge/bar/club/pub whatever its called so i didnt know much but after e, im in love.

i like e because its not a club club, it has more of a laidback classy feel aka lounge with live band and music playing but most of all, its not loud and crowded like the clubs. plus, they serve actual food not just drinks.

e is my favorite "club" to chill. i'll definitely be coming back.

i proposed to my fiancé there. apparently a security guard saw and within a few minutes the owner came by with complimentary champagne. the rest of the night security took care of us when a few patrons had a few to many, so that we may have our privacy! food and drinks were great and ambiance was definitely amazing.

the edison is my favorite bar when it comes to cocktails and ambiance. friends and i refer to it as the disneyland of bars.

last night, the second radio room of this year, was on fire. after tasting the new cocktails from mr. joe brooke, winner of season 1 of american's top bartender on lxtv, we stayed at the center bar and finished off with drinks by mr. brian miller of death

burlesque wednesdays. i've been a fan of the edison since it first opened, but its appeal faded after a year or so. i recently went back for the burlesque circus on wednesday nights and... damn. entertainment is incredible, the crowd dresses up and the drinks never miss, although you may wait for quite a while. if you're looking for a refreshed sense of the edison - go on wednesday nights.

the edison is an upscale lounge in downtown la with a 1920's swanky vibe. they have 2 great deals on thursdays and fridays when you can enjoy their cocktails for a very low price of 0.35 cents! on thursdays , from 5 pm-7 pm, enjoy one cocktail for 0.35 ce
