the cycle gap

has to be one of the worst places i've been to here in chennai. they have a rule where they don't seat an all guys party on an actual table. only the bar counter is available. so you need to have a girl with you to be given a table. doesn't matter if you'd booked in advance or if the place is deserted. the only reason this place seems to be running is the lack of any other similar place in this region. the food is not thatgreateither here. i wish i'd gone to some tasmac or thrown my money away instead of coming in here.

i've been to quite a few places in bangalore, and this place would rank at the bottom if it were there instead of here in every single factor. amazing what qualifies as a good bar in this city.

if my review were not clear enough, i will not be returning here again and will recommend you don't visit at all and spare yourself the regret.

food – we had tandoori rotis with amazing chicken curry! it tasted delish delish and the starters were amazing. the brownie with icecream just the perfect end to agreatnight! to not forget the pizza, it was a thin crust with loaded veggies and cheese. pizza, alchohol and your favourite person!🍻🍕

ambience – the perfect place for good food, drinks, party and dance your heart out with friends and collegues!🎉

service - the staff were super friendly and served with a smile, was quick and also suggested the best ones for us to try there.😀

okie had a chance to visit this place and it was a awesome experience. okie let's talk about food first the food was really served pretty quickly idk how they managed it but it was too quick and the food also tasted pretty good especially i love the crispy corn, chicken tikka and the butter chicken and even the mocktails tastedgreatmy favorite was the spicy ocean.. the vibe of the restobar is pretty awesome and the music they have was reallygreatwhich is due to an awesome dj. so if you wanna hang out with your friends on a special occasions and grab some drinks with awesome food this place is must visit if you're in adayar..

i recently visited the cycle gap adyar and it was one of the best experiences! i loved the ambience, the vibe, food, and the services!

i liked how diversified the menu was, especially for cocktails. i was spoiled for choices! also, they gave me three coupons that i could redeem at the bar, which got me even more excited!

this is all i had:

1. paneer chatpat
2. kathmandu-style pakora
3. mexican veggie pizza
4. hot garlic noodles
5. cocktails - tequila sunrise, thaaru maaru, and london to adyar

the dishes were all yummy, and the portion size was good too compared to the prices.

i got a chance to make my own cocktail - london to adyar at the bar, and it was an amazing experience! the bartender told me that ladies are always welcome to make their own drinks, which made me feel special!

i also liked how friendly the staff was and how quickly they served us.

one of the best resto bars i have ever been to. everything was on point from the ambience to food!

ambience: it was a nice setup with our local slang dialogue pictures on the walls❤️ they kept sanitizes on every table. the lightings and dj's were great. also, they do ipl screenings 😬

service: 5⭐ prasanth very gently explained about weekend special menu's. our food has quickly arrived at our table.

food: we ordered beef peratal, chicken kheema pizza, chef spl seafood sizzler, eral with chinnavengayam, chicken nachos, figgi coffee mocktail, shaktimaan energy drink cocktail, heineken beer, stangen beer can, eristoff shots and xenta absensta shot.


chicken nachos: hands down to one of the best nachos in the town!😍 chicken, cheese and salsa sauce toppings were too good. nachos were crunchy and the flavour was good.

beef peratal: it was cooked so well not so chewy and the flavours were ulti ❤️

chicken kheema pizza: think crust pizza  ✔️ chesse overloaded ✔️ toppings ✔️ everything very perfect! the chicken kheema tasted yum too. it's the best 🤙

chef spl seafood sizzler: a heavenly seafood sizzler where they flame it with spirits (it is done on our table) we got a fish and squid on the sizzler accompanied with a little portion of rice, salad and fries. honestly, the sauce on the fish was delicious. squid and fish was cooked well and the taste was scrumptious 🤤

eral with chinnavengayam: a pinch of  disappointment on this but never mind the flavours were best 👍

figgi coffee mocktail: top notch drink. the drink tasted soo well. it's a good blend 🙌

shaktimaan energy drink cocktail: a similar drink like liit and it wasgreat💯 the glass in which they serve the drink will be different not a usual way.

eristoff shot: it was good.

xenta absensta: one of the strongest liquor in the world. it's a neat drink and contains a high % of alcohol content.

a must try dish/drinks - chicken kheema pizza, chicken nachos, chef's spl sizzler (it's available only on weekends), figgi coffee and xenta absenta 😍

overall agreatplace to hangout with friends !

cycle gap would be your right choice if u want to catch up with friends for agreatfood and shake a leg.. the detailing of the place is quite interesting and nostalgic . food and drink options were good enough to try out stuff.

visited resto on yesterday the ambience was awesome,trendy and upbeat!the cocktail which i orders wasgreat,a big special mention to staff mr.prashanth whose service was friendly ,he made us comfortable and had polite attitude.
highly recommend this place to all....(^～^)

this place is very friendly and affordable. chef vinoth makes everything with love and makes sure you enjoy the menu and customizes as you like. they take special care to ask about the service and ensure we have agreatexperience. gowtham took care of our table. he is such a sweetie. we went for my sisters birthday.. they were very accommodative with our choices and made that day even memorable for us. you mightias few drinks if you go on a monday. otherwise all good.
