has to be one of the worst places i've been to here in chennai. they have a rule where they don't seat an all guys party on an actual table. only the bar counter is available. so you need to have a girl with you to be given a table. doesn't matter if you'd booked in advance or if the place is deserted. the only reason this place seems to be running is the lack of any other similar place in this region. thefoodis not that great either here. i wish i'd gone to some tasmac or thrown my money away instead of coming in here.

i've been to quite a few places in bangalore, and this place would rank at the bottom if it were there instead of here in every single factor. amazing what qualifies as a good bar in this city.

if my review were not clear enough, i will not be returning here again and will recommend you don't visit at all and spare yourself the regret.

visited cycle gap in adyar on a wednesday which happened to be ladies night! this means complimentary drinks for ladies between 7-9! thefoodwas really nice especially the schezwan noodles and old lady mocktail which was served in a very fancy glass! the paneer was good and the babycorn was my favourite! overall must try, the staff was sweet and the manager, mr. naresh was very kind! he also let us try our hands at making our own drinks 🥳

 my friend and i each got 2 tokens forfood& beverages that we could claim and get any two dishes/drinks on the house. it was a mixed crowd of students and office-goers, which looked like a perfect place to rewind and relax mid-week.

i had ordered an andhra fish fry for starters, it was a huge fish that came wrapped in a banana leaf. it tasted very homely. we also ordered some pizza, chicken kadai with naan and desserts. 



we ordered their house a special cocktail and a watermelon based mocktail, that was the best decision i made that evening. i was very much pleased with the food, although i was hoping to eat baklawa there but it was sold out.

okie had a chance to visit this place and it was a awesome experience. okie let's talk aboutfoodfirst thefoodwas really served pretty quickly idk how they managed it but it was too quick and thefoodalso tasted pretty good especially i love the crispy corn, chicken tikka and the butter chicken and even the mocktails tasted great my favorite was the spicy ocean.. the vibe of the restobar is pretty awesome and the music they have was really great which is due to an awesome dj. so if you wanna hang out with your friends on a special occasions and grab some drinks with awesomefoodthis place is must visit if you're in adayar..

cycle gap is an easy and worthy pick if you're looking for a nice calm restobar around adyar/besant nagar.

i personally enjoyed their deliciousfoodand the best part about it was their super quick service and absolutely no compromise in the taste , quality and quantity.

their starters are the real attraction, as they go really well along with their cocktails. their dishes are uniquely named shaded with south-indian slangs. we loved their golden fried baby corn and chicken achari tikka.

coming to the main course , don't forget to ask for the chef's special dish. their chef's special veg rice was so scrumptious , bursting with flavours and quantity was sufficient as well. they've a short yet delicious dessert menu and their brownies and baklavas are easy picks.

how can i not mention their cocktails! they've unique flavours when it comes to cocktails and the one that impressed us the most was 'varanasi beeda'. the name is pretty much self-explanatory but goddamn , the flavour demands to be tasted!

the place is located in the prime area , easily accessible and the staffs are super friendly and knowledgeable. definitely worth the try and upcoming visits !

after looking at this place’s photos andfoodpics on zomato we had set a lot of expectations while visiting. but it just ruined our day. my friends told me drinks were like okayish. butfoodwas just horrible. small time restaurants cook betterfoodthat what was served here. guntur kozhi vepudu man. i expected so much out of it and it turned out to be some low class dry karakozhambu type of dish. cheesy nachos tasted like feet. a resto bar needs to serve goodfoodtoo. what you do here looks like daylight robbery.

i’m never going back nor recommending this place to anyone anymore. hope you guys improve soon.

the best sunday brunch menu chennai has to offer. not once have i finished the entree, the quality offoodis impeccable. unlike other restaurants they don't make you pick out of the same 5 beverages for the brunch, the options are endless. service is fast and the very very friendly. shout out to the manager naresh he does his job perfectly 👌

we had good time with our team, nice ambience, good variety cocktil staff are so friendly goodfoodbut not least good music.

have no idea how come this restaurant is having a 4.3 rating. the service and dj was horrible. they promote one and they do something totally different. 12.12.21 was supposed to be rajini night. they only played 3 rajini songs. the other songs which they played was so boring, even requesting multiple times to play some good songs and rajini songs, they dint. the service andfoodwas okayish. thought cycle gap anna nagar was bad but adyar branch is even worse. the vibe was totally off. do not plan with you friends or family and travel for kms in heavy traffic and rain, not worth it.

music was terribly loud and you cannot have normal conversation with your friends. not to sound like a racist here, the tone and branding of the place was madras local including the signboards, decor and menu but all i heard was b’wood music which was quite misleading.foodand drinks were average.

one of the best resto bars i have ever been to. everything was on point from the ambience to food!

ambience: it was a nice setup with our local slang dialogue pictures on the walls❤️ they kept sanitizes on every table. the lightings and dj's were great. also, they do ipl screenings 😬

service: 5⭐ prasanth very gently explained about weekend special menu's. ourfoodhas quickly arrived at our table.

food: we ordered beef peratal, chicken kheema pizza, chef spl seafood sizzler, eral with chinnavengayam, chicken nachos, figgi coffee mocktail, shaktimaan energy drink cocktail, heineken beer, stangen beer can, eristoff shots and xenta absensta shot.


chicken nachos: hands down to one of the best nachos in the town!😍 chicken, cheese and salsa sauce toppings were too good. nachos were crunchy and the flavour was good.

beef peratal: it was cooked so well not so chewy and the flavours were ulti ❤️

chicken kheema pizza: think crust pizza  ✔️ chesse overloaded ✔️ toppings ✔️ everything very perfect! the chicken kheema tasted yum too. it's the best 🤙

chef spl seafood sizzler: a heavenly seafood sizzler where they flame it with spirits (it is done on our table) we got a fish and squid on the sizzler accompanied with a little portion of rice, salad and fries. honestly, the sauce on the fish was delicious. squid and fish was cooked well and the taste was scrumptious 🤤

eral with chinnavengayam: a pinch of  disappointment on this but never mind the flavours were best 👍

figgi coffee mocktail: top notch drink. the drink tasted soo well. it's a good blend 🙌

shaktimaan energy drink cocktail: a similar drink like liit and it was great 💯 the glass in which they serve the drink will be different not a usual way.

eristoff shot: it was good.

xenta absensta: one of the strongest liquor in the world. it's a neat drink and contains a high % of alcohol content.

a must try dish/drinks - chicken kheema pizza, chicken nachos, chef's spl sizzler (it's available only on weekends), figgi coffee and xenta absenta 😍

overall a great place to hangout with friends !
