the cheesecake factory at southcenter mall

cold food. our last visit to this restaurant was even worse than the first. not sure what the drink was but it was supposed to be a (berry tea?) tasted like diluted juice to the point my ice water was more enjoyable. we also had a gift card given by this establishment after they failed to return a $50.00 gift card telling my wife it was good for $25.00 which should have been left from our last visit. they "couldn't find the original card " what an embarrassment when we attempted to pay a part of our tab and was told basically that it was worthless.
none of our meals were satisfactory for the price and mine was hardly fit to eat. the nocho chips were the best of it even tho cold. the chicken was barely room temp as tho it was prepped and set aside while several other dishes were prepared.
i won't be back to this one again unless i forget again altho my calendar is marked for the poor service and quality of food.

pleasantly surprised!. i have always been scared of cheesecake factory because i've always heard about how unhealthy the food and the portions are. i went there last month with my hubby for the first time on a whim. he ordered a philly cheesesteak. i ordered a few small plates; a santorini farro salad and vietnamese tacos. they were both so delicious and fresh! as i am writing this review i am getting a serious craving for the vietnamese tacos, which cheesecake factory describes as "steamed asian buns with roasted pork, marinated cucumbers, carrots and onion with chiles, cilantro and sesame seeds." i also got a slice of classic cherry cheesecake to go. it took me a few days to eat it, with help from my hubby. it was soooo good. everything a classic cheesecake should be. we both really enjoyed it. i am shocked to hear myself say this...but i can't wait to go back!

you guys have the worst customer service ever , especially from the girl & the red hair server. first and last time there. also she gave me the wrong dish to go instead of giving me my dish.

one of the restaurants we go to for desserts when we're in town. i absolutely love the red velvet cheesecake, it's delicious. the fried macaroni and cheese tastes pretty good. overall the food here is very average, nothing special except the cheesecake. i also like the plain cheesecake with strawberries but everytime we go there, we have to have red velvet cheesecake.

no doubt that this place serves the best cheese cake. tried the oreo and the regular cheesecake. both were amazing. service was particularly good and had no waiting for us.
a must go place.

and to add :: the lettuce thai wrap was just awesome. must try !!!

typical cheesecake factory as you'd expect. i went when it was national cheesecake day and they offered 1/2 price slices. they couldn't cope. we waited +25 minutes for two slices of cheesecake...

my friends and i came here for dessert last tuesday. we were seated immediately and were greeted by a mild mannered friendly server. we ordered the oreo dream cheesecake and red velvet cheesecake. they were both very delicious! their cakes are amazing. we always pass by when we go to seattle. the service was great. they take quite long though considering it's just cake they're serving, but that's alright. the restaurant is beautiful and very clean. prices are around $7-$8 per slice. not bad! we'll be back next time.

i don't get it. food was good but why are people so fascinated with this place? very slow service. told us 10 minute wait. we were seated 25 minutes later. took another 15 minutes just to get our drinks. forty minutes in and we finally order our food. not a fan.

chain restaurant with a menu big enough requiring a thirty minute wait to review before you can order. the many times i've been here i've had descent food and a great martini with blue cheese olives. the cheesecakes i've tried in the past were good. tonight, i had their tataki salad which was descent.

chicken madeira was to die for. the mushrooms weren't over done like other places and the asparagus was steamed perfectly. the madeira sauce was sweet and savory and went great with the tender chicken breast. my mom had the herd incrusted salmon which was delicious in the white sauce. for desert i had the tuxedo chocolate cheese cake which is about an 8 out of 10. my mom had the pineapple upside down cheese cake which is a straight 10! great place and worth every penny and bite!

it was good. first time at the cheesecake factory and ordered the cajun jambalaya pasta. the bartender told me it was her favorite dish when i ordered it and told me to put some red pepper flakes on it for some extra kick. the food came and it was good. the shrimp, chicken, and pasta were all done perfectly and was well seasoned the way it came.

the place was busy as i expected and actually quite loud. i was immediately able to sit at the bar (dinning for one). the bartender was very attentive to all the customers at the bar. it probably helped that no one at the bar was actually drinking and just dinning alone. either way i'd like to come back and try a few more of their dishes.

incredible cheesecakes and other food!. my wife and i have been trying to eat at a cheesecake factory for a while now, but everytime we've been in seattle or portland area during our occasional jaunts across the border (we're from canada), the line-ups have been too long to bother (we'd end up starving in the process, kinda defeating the purpose). we finally made it to a table at this location as our meal timing was off this trip while driving to seatac, so managed to hit the place before the main dinner hour, at around 330 pm on saturday and got a table within 5 min.

at first i was not impressed with the menu offerings. despite having an extensive selection, i tend to eat healthy so only free range or organic meat, of which they offered none. i was almost tempted to leave because the only salmon they served was farmed, which in sushi places, is an indicator that food quality is not a priority as farmed salmon is akin to cat food in terms of human health. in fact, if i had a pet cat, i wouldn't even feed it farmed salmon as it's so bad for you (from my perspective as a biologist that has researched the salmon farming industry).

so we decided to go veggie and give the place a try and we were impressed! the avocado spring rolls were delicious and our server, robert, was very conscientious of my sesame allergy, which i greatly appreciated as it turned out the sauce had sesame oil so he brought a honey-mustard sauce which was great. and the tamale cakes were fantastic! if you like tamales and you're vegetarian, go for these! even if you're not veggie (like my wife), you'll love them! full of flavour! and the kale quinoa salad was very tasty, again, surprising me as i was expecting something bland and small in portion (it was neither!). very tangy flavour to it. my wife also ordered the margherita (mozzarella & basil) pizza which was very good. and then there were the cheesecakes! we had a helluva time deciding which ones to take out (since we were too full to eat anything more), but ended up ordering the chocolate mousse cheesecake (since i'm a chocoholic) and my wife got the lemoncello torte - awesome for breakfast!

would we go back? definitely yes! but if it has outrageous lines (they don't take reservations on weekends or evenings), then just go to the cheesecake counter and order dessert to go!

i am really dissapointed that this resturant does not accept reservations. we have a lot of team lunches and dinners and it is such a hassel to come in with a large group of people and not have reservations. i love the food though!

my first experience at this chain was a good one. giant portions with fairly high quality. would definitely come back sometime!
