love it!!.serviceis great, food is amazing. just an great place to eat and have a good time!

if you pull up to the front, don't let it fool you, this is a big place! it looks like a little store front, but looks can be deceiving. we stopped in on our cross-country and were pleasantly surprised. it was clean, theservicewas great (friendly and fast), and has a great atmosphere. food was very good (typical pub fare), but we did not sample any beers. shame too because they have an extensive beer list. would definitely recommend...not far off rt. 80 either.

i ordered the barbque sampler. all were over cooked and dry. chicken was burned to black. baked beans were over cooked and mushy. servicewas very good. setting was nice and busy.

pretty tasty. the poblanos were excellent. large portion and great flavor. had a light spice and the sauce was a good taco sauce. more cheese is always wecloned though. the smoked wings were good. asian sauce- teriyaki, was good. buffalo was better.servicewas just ok. waited a bit to get a drink.

best wings bar none. i have sung the praises of the brew kettle previously, but must add to that by mentioning the chicken wings. the evolution and progress of this snack in the american culinary consciousness is remarkable. relegated to the same ranking as the neckbone some decades ago, the recipe reputedly founded at the anchor bar in buffalo, new york has taken on such gargantuan proportions that it is almost inconceivable that poultry farmers aren't concocting a way to mutate the birds for more wings. hmmm... in any event, in my experience, the wings prepared at the kettle are exceptional. not deep fried in the traditional manner, it's the smoked taste and char grilling that set them apart. also appreciate that they are served as the full joint. the only draw back is the lack of rub or sauce choices. only 3 are available. but the taste is so good that i would consume them au naturel. paired with the kettle's "big woody" crafted beer and i would pitch a tent there forever.

bingo. experienced a great lunch on their burger special monday. this is a place that i am definitely wanting to try again for the beer and food. i can understand this place probably is hopping (no pun intended) in the evening and weekends. the site is large soservicecould be an issue. but when everything comes together, sometimes you have to wait for satisfaction. our server, becky, was knowledgeable and attentive. the only request we had was to change the bun on one of the burgers as it was too soggy. but that was likely caused by the juiciness of the burger. there is a delightful char to all the burgers and the slaw has a wonderful unique horseradish and dill bite to it. the beer selection is exceptional and there are a number of menu items i must try. the brew kettle passes my "i'll be back" test.
back twice since the original review. couple of notes. wings are fabulous if not a bit pricey. the tuesday special is $4.99 for approximately 5 full wings (not separated). had the chinese chili oil which is spicy without being torturous. the buffalo chicken wrap, however, was bland and dry, with a minimal dose of blue cheese dressing. wouldn't do it again. the grilled burrito with pulled pork was tremendous. had the jackhammer and grapefruit beer which can knock one for loop. still sold on this place forserviceand quality though i may be a bit more selective on the menu.

blown away - saw this on "bargain gems" on urbanspoon, and it is! great ribs, great beer, greatserviceand right off i-80. go, go, go!

the food remains good. the .... the food andserviceis good. my favorite is the pulled pork nachos. my concern is the beer. ever since they went off site to a brewing facility, the beer has been unremarkable, lacking flavor and aroma. the best beer is the white rajah ipa hands down, which remains consistently good. the old 21 ipa is a mess. the aroma and flavor is gone. they claim it still has simcoe hops in which it doesn't seem to. i don't smell the hoppy simcoe aroma anymore. i am disappointed that the original old 21 is gone forever.

excellent beer and good food! about as good as it gets. better to go when it is not busy as the it gets a little crazy. on a negative note, i see too many frowns from the employees. it would be better to see more smiles.

theserviceruins the food. the food is pretty good, but theservicetends to leave a lot to be desired. if you go in and don't order drinks (beer), the servers try to rush you out as soon as the meal is done; they stop refilling your water/pop/iced tea, don't stop by to ask if you need anything, and on my most recent visit the server said point blank "i'd like to cash you out, we have people waiting for the table." excuse me? what really got me was on the way out, we walked by two booths that were empty but dirty, a two-top table that was empty and clean, a six-top table that was empty and clean, and two of the larger booths that were empty and clean. there were two groups of four waiting to be sat. sure, you needed the table. you really just wanted us out because we weren't drinking and figured you'd get a bigger tip from a group ordering beer. just rude. i doubt i'll go back.

great burgers, cooked to order :) mac and cheese was good, though the portion was a bit small. my husband had the perch and said it was one of the best he's had.servicewas good. we'll be back!

good food and micro-brews. great food, incredible selection of micro brews with a large number brewed right on the premises. food is usually great and the menu includes such oddities as barbecue spaghetti and pulled pork salad but i usually have the gumbo and andouille sausage with a lusciously dark porter or crimson red amber. great daily specials and killer wings. i have been going here for a couple of years and the place has really caught fire and sadly crowds are now the norm so you should anticipate a wait at times and regrettably they do not take reservations. it can get moderately loud sometimes but hey it's a micro brew pub so that should not be unexpected. price are very reasonable and the servings heaping and plentiful. unfortunatelyservicehas been slow and spotty at times especially when it's busy which can be annoying but it hasn't gotten bad enough to keep me from going back yet. in short - good brews and good eats at a reasonable price

great food, really great beer, inexpensive and a great atmosphere. that said - theserviceis always slow. no matter if it is packed during dinner or dead when i stop in for an early lunch my food always takes longer than i think it should. i love the potato of the day- usually some redskin potato with a cheese and herb sauce. burgers, pulled pork and wings are my favorites!

worstserviceever. when we first arrived we were quoted a wait of 5-10 minutes and were finally seated after over 30 minutes of waiting as we were actually walking out the front door. the place was crowded and loud. the two of us sat and waited and waited and our server finally came to great us. she brought my boyfriend's drink and forgot mine, she brought his soup and forgot my salad, she seemed very attentive to his needs and not mine. the food, even his was slow. we could both tell that our entrees sat in the hot window for a while becasue they weren't fresh. we will never return!
