the newest galway bay brewery bar opened in christchurch this week (same chain as the black sheep, brew dock, against the grain, alfie byrnes anddarkhorse)
came here to try founders' blushing monk as i had spotted they tweeted this before they opened but unfortunately they'd ran out the night before! still they had another raspberry beer on draft - lindeman's framboise. i've had it before and it's good.
was pretty quiet when we went but to be fair it was early enough on a very wet saturday afternoon..
food wise when we went they were serving pieman pies all day / night. i think that's changed and they're serving food.
this seems to be a craft beer heaven!! they're only doing craft beer here. they've 20 taps and i think i counted maybe 40 different bottles on the blackboard.
