stopped in saturday morning forbreakfastas i am a new local. hostess was great....that was the only thing great. my mushroom, scallions and swiss omelette turned out to be scrambled eggs with the ingredients tossed in. it was overdone too. i had asked for hollandaise sauce but alas it never showed up. i gave the waiter 20% as i know these young people work for this...that stated i will not return.

bayside skillet in ocean city, maryland is well-known for their largebreakfastportions, huge omelets, and wide range of crepes. their open year round and if you go after 9 am you can order their signature mimosa or "wake-up call" oj! we went early saturday morning so food came fast and we had attentive service! we ordered lump crab and cheese omelet and banana royale crepe.. see the full review at munchingtheglobe.com/bayside-skillet-ocean-city-md/

very tasty!! the first thing i noticed about the menu was the high prices (a cup of coffee is $3.25) -- but after eatingbreakfasthere with my family, i must say it was worth the cost. the portions are huge. good luck finishing the omelets! the strawberry crepes had about $6 worth of strawberries on them -- easily a quart of them. we ordered a side of potatoes (around $4.75) and it easily served as a side for the entire table of 4. the spinach fritatta was very tasty as well. i would certainly recommend this place and will return again. if you are looking for a typical cheap "diner"breakfastof bacon, eggs, and toast, look elsewhere.

hadbreakfasthere on vacation and it was excellent! the portions were huge we couldn't even finish our food. the staff was attentive and helpful. the juice is fresh squeezedwhen you order and the chantilly cream was out of this world. a bit pricy but worth a special treat. will definitely come back next time in town.

share plates!. seriously, everything is huge so order one item per two people. the three-fruit crepe had so much whipped cream (fresh) and a huge pile of fruit that it was practically a dessert. the savory crepes were equally loaded - we had one seafood and another with good roast ham and cheese. the omelet's are 4 eggs each (!) so, again, share. a side of home fries was enough to share among 4 people. the fruit juices are pressed fresh, another rarity these days. a solid fillingbreakfastor brunch option.

scrumptious. succulent crab & cheese omelette served at a perfect temperature. it was so good that i tried one at a differentbreakfastspot but that one was a total let down. we also had the crepes kathryn with hot dutch apples, strawberries and blackberries and they were rich and delicious and very filling. we ate outside to enjoy the view. service was very good and we observed the owners keeping a watchful eye over it all. the place has a strawberry theme all over the place which was pretty cool too. drinks were really tasty. i'll be back!

at first glance i was skeptical because it appeared to be a dèbutante diner, but regardless of the looks the place within is comforting and friendly. the employs are lovely and each have rich history. the food was delicious though i would recommend visiting here duringbreakfastbecause of their kick-ass crèpes the afternoon and evening meals are also exceptional. i personally would recommend their exquisite seafood crèpes was the highlight of my meal, notable dishes were the jumbo lump crab salsa, crab soup, and rainbow asain salad (which was a nice variation in flavor). so if you are in the oc and are looking for a place with good grub stop by bayside for any meal and prepare for a feast.

food ok, overpriced. my friend & i were pretty excited to find somewhere to getbreakfastin oc during the off-season. we each ordered an omelet, a coffee & 1 side of hollandaise sauce...$36. i must say the omelets were good, but filled with huge chunks of what i ordered (ham, onion & tomato), it was really too much. i'm glad we tried it, but i would not go back again. staff was really nice.
