a little pricey but definitely worth it! the portions were huge so my boyfriend and i didn't mind the price. my omelet was amazing, i loved their white chedder cheese! and their tropical green tea and fresh orange juice topped off my magnificent breakfast.

culturally diverse. beautifully decorated, a homey feel. reminds me of grandmas house. the potatoes are bangin, really really good. the portions are tiny, don't listen to them. gator skin heels is appropriate attire. never a dull moment... keep it simple.

stopped in saturday morning for breakfast as i am a new local. hostess was great....that was the only thing great. my mushroom, scallions and swiss omelette turned out to be scrambled eggs with the ingredients tossed in. it was overdone too. i had asked for hollandaise sauce but alas it never showed up. i gave the waiter 20% as i know these young people work for this...that stated i will not return.

haven't got the food yet but already disappointed. they piled us on top of each other so me pregnant can not get up to use the bathroom. they offered patio seating and we had to climb under a plastic tarp to get to our table. 2 members of our party of their drinks and then the child but i'm still waiting on mine a water and a oj, 2 items which are already on the table im for other guests. our food orders placed several minutes ago. if i lived close probably wouldn't return.

bayside skillet in ocean city, maryland is well-known for their large breakfast portions, huge omelets, and wide range of crepes. their open year round and if you go after 9 am you can order their signature mimosa or "wake-up call" oj! we went early saturday morning so food came fast and we had attentive service! we ordered lump crab and cheese omelet and banana royale crepe.. see the full review at munchingtheglobe.com/bayside-skillet-ocean-city-md/

just blah. i like toast with an omelette, or fruit or something, but the only thing you get is a flimsy crepe, which i've decided i do not like at all. the prices are way too high for eggs! and the food was bland. $45 for 2 omelettes, 2 coffees and 1 juice. really?

very tasty!! the first thing i noticed about the menu was the high prices (a cup of coffee is $3.25) -- but after eating breakfast here with my family, i must say it was worth the cost. the portions are huge. good luck finishing the omelets! the strawberry crepes had about $6 worth of strawberries on them -- easily a quart of them. we ordered a side of potatoes (around $4.75) and it easily served as a side for the entire table of 4. the spinach fritatta was very tasty as well. i would certainly recommend this place and will return again. if you are looking for a typical cheap "diner" breakfast of bacon, eggs, and toast, look elsewhere.

always good. bayside skillet is a must go to place, if you go to ocean city maryland.

the staff is friendly, and acomodating, irene the lovely lady that most of us know as the manager is always there year round and visits every table to make sure you are happy.

we have never found strawberry crepes that could match theirs, even the peanut butter and jelly crepes are a favorite.

of course the signature item is fresh squeezed orange juice, every glass is made fresh with full time squeezer's in the middle of the restaurant busy as beavers squeezing out a truck load of oranges a day.

note- do not order a large orange juice, it is the same volume as the small at a much lower price.!!! this trick will save you several dollars if you order 2!!
large omelets, and many other favorites are on the menus.

we go 1 time a month for last 20 years, not cheap, but quality and consistency costs money, not to mention this location is bayfront and has 200+ parking spaces always enough servers so there is no wait.

had breakfast here on vacation and it was excellent! the portions were huge we couldn't even finish our food. the staff was attentive and helpful. the juice is fresh squeezedwhen you order and the chantilly cream was out of this world. a bit pricy but worth a special treat. will definitely come back next time in town.

gluten free?. my brother is gluten free and we visited atlantic city for vacation. obviously we wanted to eat out, so we saw this place on urbanspoon. we called there to see what their options were, since others in my family have other dietary restrictions in addition. first, the person who picked up the phone didn't seem to even know what gluten free was, and it took so long to get through to them. we spoke to at least 3 people when they said that they had nothing gluten free. we were all upset because it seemed that they had been advertising this on urbanspoon and from word of mouth, and it wasn't even true. then, as it turns out, they thought we were asking for free food, not gluten free food, which is insane and quite frankly weird because what was making them miss us asking about gluten free? they proceeded to not have much knowledge, and that is much scarier for us since we don't want one of us to get sick. they stumbled with "oh we have a bagel..." and other random stuff and it was just not helpful at all and i was not confident in letting my family eat there. if you are going to let it be known that you are gluten free, then be at least semi-knowledgable on that topic.

portion sizes are very generous, so sharing is a good idea. they don't charge a split fee.

a unique place in o.c.. in ocean city, where everything is sunsations and chain restaurants, bayside skillet offers a nice, different dining experience. our server was very good, friendly and kept the coffee refills coming which is a definite "thumbs up" for me. had the baked apple crepe with their homemade chantilly (whipped cream). it was delicious, like having apple pie for breakfast. the apples were baked and not out of a can like so many places you go. had a nice amount of cinnamon and sugar without being overly swweet. and i highly recommend spooning some chantilly into your coffee to act as both the sugar and the cream. you could make a meal of the chantilly alone. delicious!

bayside is #1. to start this review, i must tell you that my wife & i are “dog (and cat) people”...we have a 9 year old shepard mix rescue named katie, that is the love of our lives. we came to oc for the st paddy’s day 5k, and of course brought katie also. finding a room was easy; we stayed at the safari on 13th. eating not so much, after the race, shenanigan’s wouldn’t let katie on their outside deck, so we did an iphone search and found the bayside skillet was dog friendly, and sure enough when we got there they set us up a table on an outside covered deck, turned on the heaters, and we brought katie in for breakfast. the service & food was exceptional, katie got her own water bowl, and we shared both of our dishes with her. i would recommend the bayside to anyone, but for dog people this place is extra special
