good food and an old favorite. i have been here many times over the last few years and the food and service has been consistently good. at one time, thaijindesu was one of my favorites, but i haven't been as frequent a customer lately. i would say that's because it's a little pricey and not particularly convenient to where i live. i've had their sushi, pad thai, curries, katsudon, and, most recently, the sweet and sour fish. you really can't go wrong with katsudon. who doesn't like breaded and fried pork? that is, if you eat pork in the first place. the sweet and sour fish was very good too. the fish itself was flaky, lightly breaded (not as light as tempura but not as heavy as american style fried fish), and didn't have that "fishy" taste. it's accompanied by onions and pineapple and both went great with the sauce. pad thai and curries are trickier because they're done so many different ways at different restaurants. your enjoyment of those dishes will depend on your particular taste. i think those dishes are good here but not superb. the location in port warwick is great, but you'll pay a little extra because of it. it's nice to sit outside on a warm day. the dining area is a little small so they don't have a lot of room for large parties. call ahead if you have a party of six or more just to be sure you won't be waiting for a table for a half hour or more. our waiter the last time, sonny, was friendly and very helpful. thaijindesu if definitely worth a try and i know i'll be back at some time in the future. it's also a pretty good place to take a date. give it a try. it may become one of your favorites.
