texas de brazil

love it!. anytime any of my friends or i talk about going to texas de brazil, we joke that we don't want to eat any meals that day, and save it all for the dinner.

for starters, calling it the "salad bar" is an understatement. there's anything from salad, to sushi, to salmon, potatoes au gratin, and more. my dad considers the lobster bisque his dessert, he loves it so much. it has a large selection, and it all tastes amazing.

themeatselection is incredible, and the quality is nothing less than that. the staff is always extremely attentive, and make sure to make your evening run as smoothly as possible. the environment is beautiful, and very intimate for as large as the restaurant is. it's pricey, but it's an experience!

love it - always put a smile on my face when i hear we are going to texas de brazil.

yum!. great place to eat, even for vegetarians! salad bar is huge and a meal in itself. salad bar has excellent sushi, veggies, breads, tabouli, anitpasta. the scalloped potatoes are rich and wonderful.

once you turn your coin over to 'green'meatcomes your way at an almost frightening pace! i didn't have any of the meats--my husband did though and really enjoyed the variety.

the brazillian cheese cake is one of the best cheesecakes i've ever had.

actually nice for vegetarians. this is great treat for themeateating significant others of vegetarians. they have a great salad area and a separate price for folks not wanting to eat the meat. give themeateater in your life a treat while you you enjoy an amazing salad!

texas de brazil is a great place to eat, especially if you like meat. they have a fabulous salad bar, my favorite part is the lobster bisque. themeatchoices are endless. you can have as much as you want and any kind you like. lots of choices ofmeatare available such as, sausage, ribs, sirloin, pork and lamb. it is a fun experience with amazing food. but be warned, it's pricey.

this is my absolute hands down favorite restaurant in this part of texas! salad bar is amazing and worth the price and themeatis spectacular!

calling all carnivores. i visited this restaurant with a friend, and was dumbfounded. the salad bar alone was outstanding, then themeatcame. if i were able, i would go every day for a week, and be dead by friday. i enjoyed every part of the menu, and was given excellent service. this is my current favorite place in ft. worth.

had a great time here!. everyone should try texas de brazil at least once. a little pricey, but it's worth the great food and service you receive. our server was very professional and courteous. my favorite thing was the salad bar. the choices were incredible and very fresh. i don't eat pork, so mymeatselections were quite limited. most of themeatwas either pork or at least bacon wrapped. my daughter absolutely loved the parmesan chicken and i found the top sirloin and filet to be very scrumptious. i recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great evening meal.

the buffet to heaven!!. this is one of special event places, the restaurant you save for the best moments to be had! and, quite worth every penny of it, mind you! the salad bar/buffet has everything from smoked shrimp to couscous and smoked salmon. the lobster bisque is absolutely devine, and never overly rich, the texture is so smooth it's like velvet in the mouth. what can i say...the service is amazing, and i cannot ever say i have had a bad experiance! endlessmeatof every kind roasted, my fave is the house special and pichania, a true must try!!

not much more to say that hasn't already been said. i really enjoyed the dinner this evening. i have been to texas de brazil here about three times and the one in las vegas once. they are all very good and service is always professional. i had a drink at the bar and the bartender, although kind of quiet, prepared the drink well. once seated i was given the layout of the land and i set forth to the salad bar. the items presented at the salad bar were fresh, and i noticed they had prosciutto, which was kind of hidden on a shelf. the ham had great flavor. on one table offset from the salad bar was their lobster bisque. although i did not have any this time, i can highly recommend it from past experiences.

i arrived a little early to avoid the crowds and by doing so i was one of a handful of people being served the sliced meats by the gauchos. i was being overrun by these skewer-wielding men withmeatof all kinds--flank steak, bacon wrapped filet mignon, parmesan chicken breasts, bbq ribs, marinated beef with garlic, sausages, leg of lamb and my favorite: lamb chops. to make matters worse (?) i lost my little stop sign card, so they kept bringing me meat. it was ameattsunami. after a 45 minute onslaught, i was thoroughly defeated. i did not have dessert, although offered. also please note they do have a friday lunch offering which is a little cheaper. there is a difference though. there are fewermeatoptions. one of the servers told me that they only serve the lamb chops, ribeye and filet mignon during their evening service. just something to keep in mind. i really had a good time this evening. i wouldn't want to do this often, but i thoroughly enjoy it the couple of times a year i do.

so good think endless steak/sirloin/brisket/lamb. they have a friday lunch special for 20$ a person and regular is about 50$.

they have a time schedule when it closes they lock the door and continue to cook till every last person eats to capacity.

the have gypsy dress up guys taking lots ofmeatand cutting it there sizzling at your table.

the waitress are on you fast if you need any thing. the service was excellent.

they just keep coming .

over priced!. i recently visited texas de brazil about a month ago, i have never been so upset with a restaurant in my life!. me and my wife show up and as usual the hostess with no smile on thier faces ask us if we have a reservation. it was busy that night so we had a small wait not too bad. what up set me was the fact that they keep letting these people in with sandles and shorts on like if they where hanging out at the beach!. i saw a lady wearing pj's while her boyfriend was wearing ripped jeans and a plain white t shirt, which i asked them are you here for a special occasion? they answered no we just got a coupon in my email. thats when i realized this place is no different than a chilies down the street. when we were seated i noticed that some of the tables have been changed to picnic tables. i immediatley told the hostes um no we are not going to pay a lot of money to sit a some picnic table. someone please tell me what "4 star" restaurant does not have a table cloth on there dining room tables? i do have one good thing to say the gentlemen serving us was great but that does not allow for the company to cheap with everything else. if this place does not get any better about there low standerds of clientel me and my wife will start going to fogo de chao where they dont have coupons!!!!!!!

not what i expected. me and my wife went the other night and let me just say themeatquality went down!! the service is great as always but themeatportions got smaller since iv been last time. i asked the server about lamb chops why dont they come around so he sent for them. but then i noticed i had to keep asking for them and asked why dont they come around at all except for when i ask and he said they are "request only". i say if you dont want to serve it because its too expensive then take it out the menu same with the beef ribs. this place is to much worried about the quanity rather than the quality.

what happened to the salad bar?. the salad bar at texas de brazil used to be top notch, not memorable. if you can believe it, i used to go to this carnivore heaven and get just the salad bar. they had these great cippolini onions marinated in balsamic, well they don't have them anymore. then the olives used to be really good quality, now they are just canned green and black olives. it's not that the salad bar is bad, it just isn't good. the shimp pico used to be the bomb, well they don't have it anymore, and they haven't for some time.

the all you can eatmeatis still a good treat (not great but good) and i will continue to dine here, i just will only do it when there is a special running or during restaurant week.

the wait staff is always first class!

meat!. it's all about the meat. don't get me wrong the salad bar is great and all, but themeatis what it's all about. great carrot cake too, though i found a hair in mine once.

lunch is the way to go. my boyfriend and i went for a friday lunch and were only disappointed that we weren't super hungry. the sausages were pretty greasy, as is to be expected, but all of themeatcuts we had were great - my favorite was the lamb and garlic sirloin. the salad bar was also very good. along with standard salad bar items, they had tabouleh, shrimp salad, grilled peppers, soft cheeses, rice, beans, button mushrooms, soup and several sauces including chimichurri which was great with the lamb!
if you haven't been before and get the chance, try to go for lunch. it costs about half as much as dinner but with all of the same options so you can try everything and not overfill yourself without paying a lot. we would definitely go back for lunch or dinner and make sure we're twice as hungry so we can eat our fill.

great food! not fogo... while i really enjoyed it at these places go i still recommend fogo de chow. service, salad bar, and the frequency of choice cuts ofmeatare better at fogo.
