excellent food. we shared several plates and all were fresh, delicious and excellently prepared. tuna, octopus, frites, tomatoes and black cod were yummy-- would order them all again. we had our server recommend glasses of wine to go with and he brought some familiar and some unusual varietals, all good. make a reservation for the rooftop terrace if you can--greatambiance!

we decided to share the shishito peppers and the halibut and heirloom tomatoes and burrata salad. we topped it off with the churros for dessert! i enjoyed their campari cocktail and curtis happily drank his rachel’s ginger beer.

this meal ended ourgreatweekend in seattle and after a day spent at dirtfish i was ready to dive into a plate of delicious food. we were not disappointed from the food to the excellent service. can’t wait to return!

i didn't even know terra plata existed. i guess, i'm somewhat out of the capitol hill scene, but i was so glad i got to try it out with my family. the place has agreatvibe and interior is decorated with beautiful wood accents. 

everything in their current menu is delicious. there were a few of us, so i had the chance to taste multiple dishes. i was not disappointed with the food quality. however, the wait staff could make some improvements to their customer service. it wasn't horrible, so i would definitely be stopping by again.

seattle-tude. the food wasgreat(albeit a bit overpriced) but the staff were so snobby and unwelcoming that we will not be back. met colleagues here yesterday for dinner, and all 3 of us experienced a "seattle freeze" frosty reception from the staff as we arrived (separately). this is seattle, not nyc. and you're a restaurant/bar open to the public, not a private club. will not return.

last week my close friends carolyn and miguel got married and celebrated their union with some memorable wedding festivities.  the festivities began with the rehearsal dinner that took place on the new rooftop deck at terra plata.  terra plata brings you seasonal inspired food with local growers and artisan producers.  some of those ingredients can also be found on the roof too. the food was top notch with its creativity, flavor, and attention to detail.  combine that food with agreatreason to celebrate, and the best rooftop in seattle (outside of pike place market) then you have one of seattle’s best summer dining experiences.   congratulations to carolyn and miguel!  thanks for having me part of the wedding and hosting such a wonder dinner experience!

excellent brunch. this is really a lovely little restaurant. well lit, all glass walls, warm wood interior, it is very inviting. we went to brunch today, and i really recommend it. the group ended up sharing a few plates, as no one could decide on just one. i really enjoyed the pork hash, which hadgreatflavor without too much grease, and the manchego cheese biscuits with chorizo gravy. the biscuits were just a bit dry, but the flavor was excellent. we also had the pancakes, which were thick and moist and wonderful. while the portions were not huge in comparison to price, i did think the quality of the ingredients and careful preparation made this a good value, and the menu is unique, and the space exquisite.
