this place is really cool, from the ambience to the food(tea), everything is lit!!!
dark painted walls with the doodle art on it and old school kind of seating arrangement, cooool! . the smoking space of this cafe is special, just love the thought ❤you can spend hours here and am pretty sure you won't be bored!!
they have really good chai, both milk and non milk. during my visits i tried only milk tea's, namely elaichi, diamond masala and masala tea pot. tea pot is agreatoption if you are a group of 4 to 5, pocket friendly! along with this i tried the crunchy caramel shake which priced only 50 rupees, egg puffs, chicken mini samosa and delicious pazham pori(banana fritters).
i would reccomend you all to try "all" the chai as everything is good and am seriously not able to rate the teas which they serve, ek se badke ek behtateen!!
their diamond masala tea will take a space as it is my current favorite one. its pure milk (no water) based tea with elaichi and ginger in it. loved the balance of flavors, not too strong and not too light.
their first sip of elaichi chai will give definitely give you a chai-gasm ,soooooo good.

i visited teapot café during the afternoon for tea. firstly, i loved the soothing ambience of this underrated cafe. quaint wall art, lots of teapots and the simple spacious space set the right mood for having tea.
i ordered masala chai along with a blueberry cheesecake. the chai hadgreatflavor and the blueberry cheesecake too had the right density and was light on the sweetness. an unexpectedlygreatcombo!
while making the payment, i had an embarassing moment where i realised i didn't have my wallet in my bag. i asked the owner if he accepted google pay, which he didn't. he was nice enough to tell me that i can come back the next day and pay him. ofcourse i got my wallet and paid him the same day but he was very trusting and sweet. one hardly sees that anymore.

a wonderful and calm place, where you can while away hours in front of a pot of tea (well, more than one if it's really hours!). agreatplace to read, write — or, as i've so often done, enjoy idleness in the company of good loose leaf tea.

teapots hanging from ceilings, sitting on cabinets on niches, literally everywhere. that's what you see in the teapot cafe except for the grass exterior wall. the decor is one of a kind. we went there in afternoon and it was almost empty but soon the place was full of bot tourists and locals. we had paneer sandwiches, veg sandwich, roasted chicken, banana shake and jasmine tea. everything was so well prepared and beautifully served. quantity of servings weregreattoo. the owner even had a little chat with us. it was very welcoming.

first lets talk about the ambience, itsgreat. seating area inside the café is less if its too busy, so they've arranged seating area outside the café. look of the café is quite appealing to me. the border between the kitchen and dining area looks cool with that cycle attached.

very disappointed with the lemon tea . not recommended

sulemani chai was good. and the quantity you get for the price is what i feel is worth a try

price is reasonable.

and now main talk.. food..

there are no much veg options here. u may find 1 veg option in each section on the menu. so veg foodies this is not your place to grub something.
and i haven't tried non-veg here yet.

i'll talk about what i tried there.
1. veg samoli
the bun was soft no complaints. the fillings were just capsicum and mayo thats all. because i had veg here i guess its how it is.

2. veg vaganza burger
it was fine.

3. oreo original shake.
not at all good.. there is no thickness and no froth it was like drinking a normal milk with oreo biscuit on top.

i'd give this 3.75/4.

we went here for a weekend breakfast. if you like tea, this is agreatplace to visit. the ambience is centered around tea, its history and diversity. you'll find a lot of old and framed posters from legendary brands, tea related serveware and plenty of tea kettles and pots to check out. it has agreatvibe to it. this is also located inside a quiet lane so it is quite peaceful with less noise.

we had their cheese omelette (good!) and the planters plate. all items were nice. their masala chai wasgreatand this is one of the few places that serves good filter coffee as well. service was warm and courteous. the prices are quite reasonable.

overall, we had a good experience :)

well, as the name suggests it's a place where you should go if not for food then at least to take a look at the collection of teapots and tea things that  they have.

it is an unassuming place tucked away in the quiet peter celli street in fort kochi. if you are on a bike or in a car then the chances of you missing it is quite high. walk down the street and you come across this interesting house covered in climbing plants and you can spot the small sign which says teapot cafe.

you enter and you are transported into a different space. it is a very simple place with all the decor is done using teapots and tea things. nothing flashy about the place but yes, it is very earthy, cosy, warm and spacious. there are 2 levels of seating and seating options range from, just for 2 people to a large party.

we ordered the masala chai, coffee and a plate of masala omelette breakfast which came with canned baked beans, a fruit bowl, bread, butter and jam. the omelette was very plain (just basic onion). i am also not a big fan of the canned beans as they taste full off preservatives and give a stale feeling after consumption.

the coffee was good. for the tea, i would say it is a very personal choice. what kind of tea you prefer and will enjoy is totally dependent on an individual taste. for me the masala chai was way too milky with less masala and even the second time around it was not much of an improvement. personally, i would probably order some other kind of tea next time if i want to spend some time looking at their collection. the chai was served in a cup which does not do justice to the concept of the masala chai which is at most places served either in glasses or kulhad's (earthenware mugs or replica's of the same).

i will put the pricing in the medium category (notgreatfor the budget travellers) and would recommend at least one visit. there are many options in fort kochi which you can make your regular haunt. but do go at least once. also look out for the interesting wall just opposite the cafe for some interesting photo-ops.

in a cold rainy lazy day, you wanna have a hot cup of tea ? go to this place.. very elegant and comforting place with decent service. the cold coffee is not thatgreatbut the tea is exceptional. the sandwiches are okay nothing extra ordinary.. but the blueberry cheesecake is the best i have had.
thank you for the service guys !!
