this place is really cool, from the ambience to the food(tea), everything is lit!!!
dark painted walls with the doodle art on it and old school kind of seating arrangement, cooool! . the smoking space of thiscafeis special, just love the thought ❤you can spend hours here and am pretty sure you won't be bored!!
they have really good chai, both milk and non milk. during my visits i tried only milk tea's, namely elaichi, diamond masala and masala tea pot. tea pot is a great option if you are a group of 4 to 5, pocket friendly! along with this i tried the crunchy caramel shake which priced only 50 rupees, egg puffs, chicken mini samosa and delicious pazham pori(banana fritters).
i would reccomend you all to try "all" the chai as everything is good and am seriously not able to rate the teas which they serve, ek se badke ek behtateen!!
their diamond masala tea will take a space as it is my current favorite one. its pure milk (no water) based tea with elaichi and ginger in it. loved the balance of flavors, not too strong and not too light.
their first sip of elaichi chai will give definitely give you a chai-gasm ,soooooo good.

i visited teapot café during the afternoon for tea. firstly, i loved the soothing ambience of this underrated cafe. quaint wall art, lots of teapots and the simple spacious space set the right mood for having tea.
i ordered masala chai along with a blueberry cheesecake. the chai had great flavor and the blueberry cheesecake too had the right density and was light on the sweetness. an unexpectedly great combo!
while making the payment, i had an embarassing moment where i realised i didn't have my wallet in my bag. i asked the owner if he accepted google pay, which he didn't. he was nice enough to tell me that i can come back the next day and pay him. ofcourse i got my wallet and paid him the same day but he was very trusting and sweet. one hardly sees that anymore.

teapots hanging from ceilings, sitting on cabinets on niches, literally everywhere. that's what you see in the teapotcafeexcept for the grass exterior wall. the decor is one of a kind. we went there in afternoon and it was almost empty but soon the place was full of bot tourists and locals. we had paneer sandwiches, veg sandwich, roasted chicken, banana shake and jasmine tea. everything was so well prepared and beautifully served. quantity of servings were great too. the owner even had a little chat with us. it was very welcoming.

very sweet and charming little breakfast / tea nook. had delicious medium-done eggs and beans and coffee that was so good, we ordered two more rounds. full of teapots (predictably) thiscafehas the air of an old world european space - with people reading their newspapers and books over tea and cakes, quietly soaking in this gem in fort kochi.

ambience - 4/5
food - 3/5
service - 3/5

if you want to chill and have conversations over a comfy cup of tea, then close your eyes and walk into this place. teapotcafeis located in a quaint street which is too pretty in itself. the facade of thiscafewill stun you and leave you wanting to take pictures even before you step in. walked into thiscafeat 4pm and it was pretty much empty. they have two floors and the entire place is decorated with rustic tea pots. the wholecafeis a touch of vintage. we ordered a plate of samosa (2 in a plate) and assam tea for 2. the tea was served in tea pots and it was absolutely cute. so if you are ever in fort kochi, don’t forget to check this place out.

i had been to the teapotcafeafter having read a lot about their blueberry cheesecake. so i and a friend went there hoping to have some good or atleast decent blueberry cheesecake since there weren't much places where good blueberry cheesecakes were available.

to start with the blueberry part of the blueberry cheesecake, there was nothing more than a dash of blueberry sauce on the cheesecake. to say that there was even a dash of it would be an overstatement considering there was just a purple tint of it on the cake slice as opposed to good sauce that one would expect. coming to the cake, the first bite tasted like curd that's gone bad. upon digging further into it, we realized that no cheese (cream cheese or cheese of any other kind) had gone into it's making. it tasted like yogurt cake with a dash of blueberry sauce( we had in the meantime asked the waiter if they'd be able to add a little more sauce to the top of the cake, which they obviously declined, which brings me to the last part of this "best" cheesecake hunt ordeal). so at this point, we're having bad curd with a dash of blueberry sauce and soggy crust.

at the counter, having met the owner (or the manager, not a very sure, a man in his late 50s probably), i told him that we were disappointed with the cake after having come all the way here upon multiple recommendations, the owner/manger was outright rude, angry at what he had heard, and took the chance to redicule me and my friend, telling us that no cheese goes into the making of the cheesecake, that only curd goes into it (since we had told him it tasted of curd gone bad. although upon confirming with a chef friend we realized that paneer can be used, but no way on earth is cheesecake made with curd). he spent the next 3 mins telling us that this was the right way of making cheesecakes. but when we went ahead to tell him that we'd checked the recipe and had confirmed from a chef friend about cheesecakes tasting like bad curd, he told us that this was how he made cheesecakes so it didn't matter to him(slow claps at your defence of your blueberry curd cake).

bottom line: don't go there for the cheesecake, not worth it. and after talking to this person, customer service/client- staff interaction is also questionable.

first lets talk about the ambience, its great . seating area inside the café is less if its too busy, so they've arranged seating area outside the café. look of the café is quite appealing to me. the border between the kitchen and dining area looks cool with that cycle attached.

very disappointed with the lemon tea . not recommended

sulemani chai was good. and the quantity you get for the price is what i feel is worth a try

price is reasonable.

and now main talk.. food..

there are no much veg options here. u may find 1 veg option in each section on the menu. so veg foodies this is not your place to grub something.
and i haven't tried non-veg here yet.

i'll talk about what i tried there.
1. veg samoli
the bun was soft no complaints. the fillings were just capsicum and mayo thats all. because i had veg here i guess its how it is.

2. veg vaganza burger
it was fine.

3. oreo original shake.
not at all good.. there is no thickness and no froth it was like drinking a normal milk with oreo biscuit on top.

i once went there for the beauty of the café from outside.. indeed their interior is also amazing!

'teapot' theme.. and their collections of antiques.

i ordered cheesecake and a coffee.
latte sucked big time, cheesecake was good because it was bought from somewhere else and sold in teapots. the owner was sweet he tried making the latte a cappuccino for me yet it was not edible after which he asked me not to pay for it.

really nice place to hang out and chill.

located close to kashicafethis place is easy to find. a quiet and humble ambience welcomes you as you get in. the seating is comfortable and tables are quite longer than what you usually see. overall it’s nice.

they have a long menu with different varieties of teas. i went for a masala chai while my wife went for a cardamom tea with milk. the owner of place was very generous to help us out with options. the flavour teas are all without milk, but since we liked our tea with milk he was kind enough to suggest cardamom tea.

i loved the masala tea. really strong on taste and felt good after it. my wife liked here cardamom tea - good flavour of cardamom. when i went to pay the bill he said rs90 which confused me. when i told him we have ordered 1 masala tea and 1 flavour he said, i don’t think i should charge rs 90 for your flavour tea (as in menu) since it was more of a regular tea with cardamom flavour. he charged only rs 30 for it.

this was a very kind gesture from his side. i would definitely visit a second time when i would try some of their interesting cakes as well as sandwiches.
