new lunchtime favorite. my wife and i had a rare treat to meet for lunch today. we ended up at tavola and wow are we glad we did. based on the server's recommendation i ordered the saltimbocca, chicken cutlet. omg! what incredible flavor. it came with mushroom ravioli. we both enjoyed the entire dish. i ended up thinking that sauteed spinach would add that extra punch and they offered to make some on the spot. this is one of the best dishesi've had in a long time. i travel extensively for work and eat all over the country. tavola is now one of my favorites. in fact we like it so much that we made reservations for our data night saturday. my wife had the chop chop salad and loved that. there is a lot of chicken in the salad and the dressing really is light and complements the flavor well. i highly recommend tavola trattoria.

great restaurant if you are stopping by in bentonville.  we had the ravioli and gnocchi formagi.  it was delicious.  you could tell they were busy but so helpful with everything we asked.  the waitress was very kind and attentive.  i hope they keep the quiet atmosphere it was very relaxing and pleasant inside.  we will definitely be back!

sidewalk service. don't accept a sidewalk table if you want prompt service. i went there on may 4, 2015, with my daughter and granddaughter. there were no clean tables inside, so we took one outside. it took forever to get service, and longer to get our food...and longer still to get our check afterward. when our waiter finally remembered us, he told us that the reason he neglected us was that he had so many tables to bus inside. i don't think we will be back any time soon.

i loved it. we had date night here and it was perfect. we were stuffed before the entrée arrived!!! very clean and friendly service. keep up the good job!!!

stopped in for lunch while on business.  everything on the menu sounded amazing but the server directed me to the orrecchiette pasta and it was definitely a good choice.  the bread and marinara brought prior to your meal is fabulous.  the table next to us had some of the pizzas which i'd love to have on my next visit although i don't think any menu item would be less than superb.  i would certainly recommend tavola trattoria to anyone in the bentonville area looking for great italian food.

a well deserved 4.0 rating! i had their u district pizza, which is a masterpiece of ingredient affinities including the flavor combination of parmigiano-reggiano, mascarpone, and goat cheeses, figs, prosciutto, arugula, and balsamic vinegar and truffle oil drizzle. it is pizza i plan to steal and make at home and when i'm back in bentonville, i will return here.

sunday we took my adult children here for one of their birthdays. (it was her choice). we have eaten here about a year ago and it was okay but we weren't impressed enough to go back. however, yesterday was so much better! even though it was busy, we shown immediately to our table. i had called earlier in the week to make reservations for six and found out they don't take reservations. but they do give priority to those who call ahead, and i really dislike that. but it worked for us so anyway... we had a very charming and attentive waiter. the cucumber water was cold and refreshing. at our table we ended up with the rustic pizza which had mozzarella and goat cheeses, roasted japanese eggplant, bell peppers, garlic, fresh herbs, crushed red pepper flakes and cherry tomatoes; two of the wallingford stromboli's which were filled with pepperoni, mushrooms, italian sausage, promodoro and mozzarella; the veal lemon cutlet with mushrooms, artichokes with lemon butter and cream reduction and capers over pasta; and four rocket salads made of fresh arugula, pecorino, oranges, focaccia croutons and dressed in orange-mango vinaigrette. it was all very delicious as beautifully presented. because it was her birthday, a choice was given for any free dessert she desired. she chose the chocolate creme brulee. it too was very beautiful. i do not know if our first time was just an off night or if they have greatly improved, but we will be back.

fantastic. i have eaten italian food all over the world.....even in many different parts of italy. this is the closest you will come. the meal and service were outstanding and we went on mother's day so the restaurant was packed. we will certainly be back.

very quaint friendly restaurant with amazing service. prices are a little steep! but over all amazing food quality!

we’ve tried this place out several times over the last 3 years and the past year has shown to be the worst for them. worst customer service ever. i would call and explain to the manager, but they’re always “busy” and the employees don’t give a crap about your feelings. i have never been treated so horribly and rudely in my life. also, their chicken on their alfredo comes with bones in it apparently. they don’t advertise that, so here’s your warning. my husband choked on bones, spit them out, called the restaurant and informed them and the employee said “ok, thanks for telling me.”
we will not be going back there again. horrible service and only “decent” food.

this is our favorite restaurant and has been for years! we've been going here consistently for 3 years now and the service is always amazing and the food is always perfect. i couldn't recommend this place enough! the mirabella's special is our favorite and the desiree cake is to die for! the mood and feel of the restaurant is soft and relaxing. the staff are wonderful. there's nothing i would change!

went here for lunch on a friend’s recommendation. i had a delicious crab cake salad with a very thick (obviously homemade) catalina vinaigrette. i wasn’t sure how i would like the grapefruit sections in it but it was really good! hubby had an italian sandwich that he said was excellent (& a large sandwich). waitress was so friendly & very good. will definitely be back!!

we would give tavola 4.5 stars if we could, as it's as close to perfect as anyone would want.  my wife and i had our wedding reception there and they were more than accommodating.  they bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and that our guest were well fed and satisfied.  the food was great and we didn't have any complaints about the service or venue.  they let us decorate as we wished and made us feel like we were the only customers that mattered.  we've only heard good things from all of our guests.  thanks verina!

a fine italian dinning experience in a modern upscale yet casual environment. i like tavola trattoria’s mix of traditional italian dishes with fresh takes on the same. i appreciate the classic crooners like sinatra and martin playing, that’s italian! the service has been very good at various times and days. the food is perfectly prepared thou everyone has a different opinion on what italian food should be. for me the fresh baked bread, fresh pasta and seasonings are spot on thou i personally like a bit more garlic and basil. with so many great restaurants on or near the square it’s hard to pick a favorite, but tavola is certainly in the running.
