real honest-to-god chinese.. did you want to try authentic chinese food in orlando? of the two best-known really authentic places inorlando(lam's garden being number one, also on colonial), this being the second--this is the cheap option--but the food is still really good. be careful not to order a side item as a main dish--for example, if you order bbq duck, you will probably be disappointed in the unilateral flavor palate, it is not meant to be a meal by itself. try one of the specials for a unique taste of authentic chinese food (they're listed on the first page) that's big enough to share. it's best to come in with a group though and get multiple menu items and split everything.

lately i've found that the quality of the food varies a little every time i go in, sometimes it might be a little oilier or saltier than usual. idk if this is what it's going to be like from now on but they have a longstanding place as one of my favorites and i'm not going to stop going after one bad incident.

anyways. from a certified chinese for you wai guo ren. ;)

great place and the servers have a wonderful and helpful attitude which is unfortunately uncommon inorlandonow. the food is authentic and a great flavor for the palette. i felt like i was visiting my wife's family in hong kong and getting great eats. right here in orlando!

ok so having traveled to china in the past i find that chinese food inorlandoshould always be prefaced or followed by the word "american" not so at tasty wok. this place is the real deal. i had a little trouble getting acquainted with the ordering process so i found myself ordering items one at a time. the duck and pork were superb as well as the noodles. i would strongly recommend this place but bring your wallet because this isn't cheap but rather an experience where you get what you pay for and with so many restaurants inorlandobeing over priced tourist traps intent on gouging an unsuspecting public i find tasty wok a good value for authentic chinese.

authentic chinese food!. located in the semi-chinatown area oforlandoresides this small restaurant. if you are looking for the real deal of chinese food, come here to select your choice of old school favorites! many of the local chinese community come here to eat and as they say; eat where the locals eat!

authentic chinese cuisine. i ordered take-out from tasty wok on new year's eve. i've always commented that a good sign for any ethnic restaurant is one where the members of that ethnicity frequent and populate the establishment. tasty wok is the epitome of that thought.
the ambiance and décor are nothing to write home about and the restaurant itself only contains a few tables but, the star of the show is the food.
this is not americanized-chinese. the pan fried noodles and fried rice dishes are superior to any you may find in theorlandoarea. for a true eastern experience, this is the place to go.

dower automatons serving the food!. here is the problem with urban spoon. other reviewers don't know s___! made a special trip to try tasty wok inorlandothis week and it is the worst food ever. mcdonalds is better. people kept telling me it was authentic and locals eat here but i have found that locals never know what good food is.

we ordered: crispy pig/chicken combo, hot and sour soup and the ginger scallion noodles. all highly recommended by others on this site. everything was horrible. i cannot give this restaurant any lower review. soup was tasteless, literally, the pig was both dry and greasy at the same time. noodles were greasy and no hint of ginger. overall the food had no flavor, no taste.

if you want good asian food, go to hawkers or yum-mi sandwiches on mills, do not go here. i barely chocked down half the food and my lunch mates stopped eating and just looked at me like i was an idiot for picking this place.

as if the horrible food wasn't enough, the place is filthy and the dower automatons serving the food gave it that special "round eyes get out" touch.orlandohas so many other fantastic asian places. i still laugh every time i see the name, it is not "tasty."

eat crispy pork!. seriously.... their crispy pork is the reason i live.

it is a sad visit toorlandothat doesnt include tasty wok.

real chinese food, along with a modest "american" chinese menu... brought a friend recently who was afraid of the good stuff... ordered general tsao's and even that rocked!

besides the crispy pork... i am a big fan of the noodle soups, i always end up getting it with duck. they also have a wonderful congee.

tasty wok is a tasty chomp!!. one of my most favorite places for chinese food inorlandois tasty wok. with reasonable prices and great heapings of authentic, home-cookin style, chinese food, no wonder this place is almost always busy throughout the day, packed with chinese families and friends having a good meal. delicious though often greasy(i believe that's one of their ancient secrets to the "tasty" in the "tasty wok")

for my order, i choose the three meat combination on rice as well and have it with roast pork, soy sauce chicken, and squid. the meats are delicious and succulent, tangy and sweet, and absolutely tasty on top of the white rice.
