tasty wok bbq & noodle house

one of the best authentic chinese food i've come across in orlando. also the prices are very reasonable. for $7.50 you can get a noodle dish to feed 2-3 people. it is not the "best" place for atmosphere but i would describe it as one of those low profile "hole in the wall" restaurants that serve reallygood& cheap food!

went this place with my family,first off , service was excellent..!!!staff was friendly and super fast ....i ordered chinese food first time !!!
it was so tasty and amazing !and airy atmosphere ....food was delicious and tasty ...i have many options of food ordered.they food was fresh ...and ambiance wasgood!!!👍

ok so having traveled to china in the past i find that chinese food in orlando should always be prefaced or followed by the word "american" not so at tasty wok. this place is the real deal. i had a little trouble getting acquainted with the ordering process so i found myself ordering items one at a time. the duck and pork were superb as well as the noodles. i would strongly recommend this place but bring your wallet because this isn't cheap but rather an experience where you get what you pay for and with so many restaurants in orlando being over priced tourist traps intent on gouging an unsuspecting public i find tasty wok agoodvalue for authentic chinese.

what an experience! (and it was not agoodone). my family and friends have been coming to this place for years but lately the quality of food and service has been very poor. just over the weekend my family went there for lunch and my 10 month old daughter threw up on the floor (which was not a big mess), one of the staff came over with stack of napkins and handed the napkins to us and told us to clean the floor up because she said "it's not my job to clean up". to our shocking we just got on the floor and started wiping off the floor. we never experienced anything like that before, it was humiliating. needless to say i don't think we will ever go back there again.

you found that hard to find chinese. this place does it right.goodfood each time i have been. i really enjoy the young chow fried rice, kung pao chicken and people rave about the salt and pepper shrimp. large portions and little more than what im used to paying.... but what im used to eating as chinese food is substandard comparatively. if you are squeamish, might want to order take out - whole roasted ducks are hanging behind glass. just a heads up, not an abundance of seating and parking might be difficult to find.

spicy beef fried rice. very tasty, goid flavor, beef taste good.

authentic chinese cuisine. i ordered take-out from tasty wok on new year's eve. i've always commented that agoodsign for any ethnic restaurant is one where the members of that ethnicity frequent and populate the establishment. tasty wok is the epitome of that thought.
the ambiance and décor are nothing to write home about and the restaurant itself only contains a few tables but, the star of the show is the food.
this is not americanized-chinese. the pan fried noodles and fried rice dishes are superior to any you may find in the orlando area. for a true eastern experience, this is the place to go.

great food. the food was reallygoodbut the sevice cant catch up with the taste.

good food but bad servive... food was verygood,...but omg for the service ...server no mener and dont care about costumer .....never come back again , how come the owner can keep the waitress ...

one of the best in town. this is one of my go to places to eat. it is truly a dive and service is lacking most of the time but the food here is excellent. the noodle soups are reallygoodbut i almost always get the rice with 3 meats of your choice. i like the soy sauce chicken, the crispy roast pork, and the roast duck. if you are with friends order from the menu and eat family style. so good!

dower automatons serving the food!. here is the problem with urban spoon. other reviewers don't know s___! made a special trip to try tasty wok in orlando this week and it is the worst food ever. mcdonalds is better. people kept telling me it was authentic and locals eat here but i have found that locals never know whatgoodfood is.

we ordered: crispy pig/chicken combo, hot and sour soup and the ginger scallion noodles. all highly recommended by others on this site. everything was horrible. i cannot give this restaurant any lower review. soup was tasteless, literally, the pig was both dry and greasy at the same time. noodles were greasy and no hint of ginger. overall the food had no flavor, no taste.

if you wantgoodasian food, go to hawkers or yum-mi sandwiches on mills, do not go here. i barely chocked down half the food and my lunch mates stopped eating and just looked at me like i was an idiot for picking this place.

as if the horrible food wasn't enough, the place is filthy and the dower automatons serving the food gave it that special "round eyes get out" touch. orlando has so many other fantastic asian places. i still laugh every time i see the name, it is not "tasty."

one of the best!. my family and i love the food here! the tea that they give you is wonderful and hot. we've eaten here for years and order the soups and pan fried noodles as well as the barbeque pork. it's a bit cramped inside and can be crowded at times, but the food is alwaysgoodand hot. i usually try to avoid sitting by the door as the hot (or cold) air blows in every time someone opens the door. the food is indeed tasty!

#38 - beef chow fun. a friend picked this up to go for me and it was amazing! i love the flat, thin, and broad noodles. tasty!

terrific..bring your friends!. once you've made the right decision to go to this wonderful place, the only issue is deciding what to order once you are there. bring your friends so you can order a lot of different things!

the servers are incredibly friendly....the place was neat and clean and the roasted meats were fantastic. the owner was there for lunch. my waitress pointed him out to me.

i had a combo of roast pig and skin and roast pork over rice. a very common dish in many of the chinatowns throughout the country. it came with a tasty dark soy sauce that you can put over the meats, but really the flavor of the meats needed nothing else.

moist and just terrific. the roasted meats were asgoodas any i've had in nyc's chinatown where you see the meats hanging in the windows,

one word of caution on the roast pig..it is fatty, but that's part of the process. you get some of the outer crispy skin, then comes a layer of fat below that exterior skin and then the moist meat. don't miss this flavorful meat. if need by, just don't eat the fat (chinese people love a delicate mix of fat with their meats) which can easily be seperated from the meat..

i just wish i had more room to try the shrimp won ton soup or the chow fun with shrimp and black bean sauce. i'll be back!

they have lots of more exotic cuts of meat, if that's your thing. things like duck feet, chicken feet, etc.
