great food & great people. i absolutely l o v etasteof troy food. my hubby and i eat there at least 8 - 10 times per month! there is nothing that we've tried that we have ever disliked. if you want a great chicken sandwich...try their fried chicken sandwich. best chicken sandwich that i've tasted thus far!!! i'm from jersey and i always believed that gyros were the best up there until i have eaten them here.
there's not a gyro that comes close!!!!

incredible food and service. we foundtasteof troy a couple of years ago and have been hooked on their food ever since. it's incredible.
it's small, cozy, friendly atmosphere makes you feel as though you're the only customer they have and ali & sarah aim to please you!
my most favorite appetizer is the (*may have spelled it wrong) cigar boret (cheeses wrapped in fillo pastry and lightly fried) and of course their greek chicken salad. we've recommendedtasteof troy to so many and they've thanked us for sending them there.

we have frequented thetasteof troy restaurant in jamestown, nc, which serves mediterranean cuisine
and have never been disappointed.
the food is made fresh & is so delicious! the wait staff is polite and prompt!
we highly recommend the spanikopita and dolma.
give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

gyro pıta. spices are delicious & tzatziki sauce tastes so fresh.

best gyros in town!. atasteof troy has the best gyro in the triad area! the lamb is spiced just right and the tzatziki sauce is fresh. i will occasionally order a gyro elsewhere, but i keep coming back to "troy." give it a try!

still hungry. i triedtasteof troy today for lunch. the reviews sounded great, so i thought i'd give it a try. they were right. the food was wonderful. i got the mixed platter (chose chicken and lamb). it came with a small portion of rice, a small salad, and a 1/4 pita. i had a diet coke for a buck and also opted for baklava for dessert at an additional $3.99. again, the food was wonderful... very fresh and flavorful. my only complaint is there wasn't enough for me. i'm a big eater but, at $20 for the meal, i expected not to be hungry. i could have eaten the same amount agan - not that i needed to but, another 50% would have been about right.. btw, the bakalava was absolutely the best i'd ever had but, when the menu said two pieces, i thought i'd take a piece home for my wife. the two pieces were two fingers about as big as my little finger. four little bites and they were gone.

we recently ate here the first time and ordered one entree and one appetizer sampler. we shared everything and it was all fresh and good and a lot of food. it was a great way totastelots of things for under $25.

so...effing...delicious. we recently moved here from a town with some amazing greek food and we had tried another greek restaurant hoping for some delicious gyros and we were extremely disappointed. thankfully, we triedtasteof troy last night and our faith in delicious greek and mediterranean food in the triad was restored!

the falafel with hummus and pita we got for an appetizer was delicious - especially the hummus. i plan to drive my butt up there for some hummus on a weekly basis. way better than anything you can get in a grocery store. my husband had a gyro and the look of glee on his face once he took his first bite was hilarious. after his other gyro at the other greek restaurant in our area (palladium) was so disappointing, this one cheered him up, big time. i had a chicken gyro and the z-sauce (i can't spell tzaziki or whatever it is) was awesome. the pitas were perfect, the veggies were fresh and i left with a happy tummy. we even had baklava afterwards and it was epic and freshly made.

the only negative i saw was the service - we were the only ones in the restaurant, but there were to-go orders being called in, etc. we sat there forever waiting for the server/maybe restaurant manager? to come offer us some baklava. she was on the phone for a while and on the laptop at a back table, so i assume she was working. i'm pretty easy going, maybe she got that vibe and wasn't too worried about us. i could have used a refill earlier though.

other than that - it was awesome. they were welcoming, the food was outstanding and fresh and the price wasn't bad either. go totasteof troy!!! it's awesome.

i think, best restaurant istasteof troy. hi, this is umit from turkey. i am sure that, my dear dude mr.ali own have best cooking in there. his cooks andtasteis wonderfull.of course everyone must try ali's foods. also i want make try it too.i needtasteto all foods. good appetitte to y'all, see you soon , have a nice days.bye for now.

excellent food/service..... my bf and i cook all the time but love to try different places.the food there was excellent. and the people that worked there treated you with respect and kindness. love it every experience abouttasteof troy. recommencement it to all my friend /family.. a+

delicious. i've been totasteof troy on several occasions. i've discovered that their food is always top notch. their gyros are to die for, the alexander kabob is mouth watering, and the adana kabob is simply wonderful. i went totasteof troy yesterday and had the pastitsio. i couldn't believe how delicious it was. i've eaten in greek restaurants all over the country, andtasteof troy has the most delicious food i've ever eaten. to miss out on this fantastic restaurant is to miss out on life itself. i highly recommend them. i can't wait to try another of their amazing entrées.

healthy food, tastes great and affordable. i've tried quite a few of the greek and mediterrean specials attasteof troy and they are all awesome. you can't beat this place for healthy, affordable food that tastes great.
