taste of thai

this place has never let me down. always delicious. the spicy combination friedriceis outstanding. the pineapple friedriceis always very good. the sauces are full of flavor and not watered down like other thai places. as close to the delicious thai food on amarillo blvd without having to drive all the way there.

total knockoff. i thought i was at my thai cause the manger and staff were the same they even copied the menu exactly and the shirts lol... but then i tasted thericeand no this was not my thai ... a cheap attempt at imitation. i tried to order curry without bamboo and was told it is made a week in advance as is -_- ewww. just not impressed at all and wont be back ... i plan to try lemon grass next

food was #amazing very good size portions as well!! enough to save for later, ordered the lunch special with 2 entrees, picked orange chicken and beef broccoli with steamriceand pretty much had a huge meal, enough to share, great food and very inexpensive, would definitely recommend if you haven’t tried yet, steve is also a great guy!

fantastic! the jasmine tea is great and the seafood vegetable friedriceis to die for! very good portions for the price and the staff is very friendly. a++++

first time went during lunch. although the waitress was nice we only saw her when she took our order. food was blah at best.ricehad a funny taste.

first time eating here we ordered togo got chicken cashew with friedriceand chicken pad thai the chicken cashew was overly salty didn't have much flavor and pad thai was too dark and they forgot to add the peanuts. while we waited we ordered thai teas they put too much cream/milk in it. wouldn't return.

taste of torture. we had ordered:
sweet and sour soup with fried rice
stickyriceand beef jerky
pho

the entire experience was miserable to say the least. it had taken us 35 minutes to get any of our food after ordering, 50 minutes to eat since sitting in the restaurant. we could not eat the sweet and sour soup until the friedricewas delivered, which was about 15 minutes after our food was delivered.

the pho was unauthentic, completely missing the integral flavors that comprise pho.
*i am a southeast asian, and have lived in sea, and consumed over 100s of bowls of pho. the soup was more like a curry based soup. *

the jerky was bland.

i would not eat at taste of thai again. the service was very slow, the food was nothing special. if you want real quick and authentic asian food, go to eastridge.
