food was good but theserviceis some of the worst i have experienced. they are not interested in the customer at all and would not not come near me. have been waiting for 30 min for a drink and still no one has enquirer with me. charging for chilli is a little steep and i another stab for just here for your money. surprised that they do not supply ginger with the soup dumplings as this is part of the dish. you will need to ask and again a $1 charge?? food is good though.

the taste is better than average, but like most chinese food in brisbane it is quite oily/salty/sweet but it's extremely so and never moderate it would seem. we still enjoyed the meal however.

the value is not bad. it's not the best priced restaurant and nor is it the worst.

we found theserviceto be the best thing about taste gallery. all the staff that we dealt with were friendly, helpful and cooperative. we ordered a dish which was "spicy" with the option of mild, medium or hot where we choose medium. we both eat spicy food and just recently returned from south korea we were ready for a medium spiced dish. what was served was incredibly hot no where near medium. for us it was not edible and so they cancelled the item of our order and took the dish away. because of this high standard of service, i would definitely return to the taste gallery. the milk teas are really nice too, great flavour but not too sweet.

absolutely abhorrent. a girlfriend and i went into taste gallery on a friday night that was not particularly busy. we were initially seated promptly and after perusing the menu for a few minutes our orders were taken by one of the waiters. thats about when the goodserviceended. after sitting for half an hour and watching all the tables around us get their meals we began to think something was wrong. we tried catching the eye of the floor staff to no avail but eventually one of the girls on the floor finally noticed we hadnt recieved any food yet. it seems the man who had taken our order had to forgotten to put it through the system. we were then informed our order had just been put in and would be out soon. the first dish then came out another 10 minutes later followed by the wrong soup which had to be taken back and replaced... another 15 or so minutes. once we had finished our overall average meal we went to pay. no discount or rememdy to situation was offered. when i asked to speak to the manager i was informed that the man i was speaking to, the one who was behind all the trouble, was in fact the manager. he then offered 15% off the $54 bill... which was, according to him, around $3.50. wrong. after making him correct his error we left. overall it was an absolutely terrible experience for an average meal. no way in hell would i ever return. hire competent staff.

i'm in love with taste gallery's chilli fish in hot oil. it's so tasty and made with the most tender basa fillets i've ever crammed into my facehole. the other dishes pictured here (salt & pepper fried white fish, pork strips in sweet bean sauce with pancakes for wrapping, shen jian bao (pan-fried dumplings), braised tofu, braised eggplant, sweet & sour pork, and walnut dessert) were all incredibly tasty and i would definitely return again to try more of their extensive menu, especially since you can get 20% off if you have a zomato pro membership.

having been twice, the only gripe i have is that theserviceon my second visit felt a bit less attentive than before as it took a little while to flag down a waiter to take our order. however, the food was very enjoyable and i'll certainly be back for more.

rude male staff member, mould growing underneath theservicebutton on the table, sticky tables and menus. we were the first customers to order and we waited 45 mins for all meals. food was bad, the place looks dirty and run down.

this place always confuses me... it often seems so empty whenever other restaurants around it are packed.

for some reason haven’t been here before, so decided to try it out. the ambience is really nice.

however theserviceis really ordinary. the food took 30+ minutes to come out and not at the same time. had to remind them to get the rice we ordered - which was very squishy.

the actual dishes weren’t bad - xiaolongbao were very juicy. three cup chicken was nice and stir fried rice cakes weren’t bad. but theservicewas so ordinary - oh and 2% surcharge on all cards - savings eftpos or credit cards - cmon.

wow!!!! the deep fried pork ribs with special sauce was definitely the stand out dish. perfect balance of sweet, spicy with a bit of tang! the steamed pork and crab dumplings were also, delicious! the duck noodles were good but a bit plain, as well as the pan fried shanghainese dumplings! but over all theserviceand food was very good.

food was bad,servicewas worst. we had a booking and turned up on time to no tables. made to wait for another twenty minutes before we were sat down at a table which was not cleaned. waited for another twenty minutes to have our orders taken (we tried flagging the wait staff and was told to hold on, hold on). food took a while (i may have misjudged the length of time the food took to come because at that time we had already waited for more than 40 minutes). never going back again.

absolutely beautiful. we were very surprised. very quickserviceand lovely food. we had the pork bun, shallot pancake, pan fried pork dumpling, fried rice and sliced pork with garlic sauce. the manager was lovely and funny too. my new favourite

have been before can be inconsistent withservicesometimes good sometimes food does not all come out at once must depend on how busy they are. the food is okay depending on what you order. not sure if we will return.

2nd time eating here and i have to say that it was a+ again. from the quickserviceall the way through to the quality food. i took a snap chat of my meal and i'm getting replies asking where this place is. was happy to pass it

visited taste gallery for dinner this evening, and after reading some of the reviews i really wasn't expecting much but decided to go in with an open mind. i was very pleasantly surprised!!

i started with steamed pork buns and combination dumplings for entree. they were both delicious. the pork buns were fresh and juicy however weren't big with flavour. however in contrast the combination dumplings were just delicious. juicy, fresh and full of flavour.

for mains, sizzling schezcuan chicken (excuse spelling) and sizzling beef with pepper sauce both were delicious and fresh. the portion sizes were generous also.

theservicewas very good and the staff very polite and helpful.

all in all a great experience, great food at reasonable prices. will be back again.

asked for fresh pork buns and she points to buns that have been out all day and goes these are fresh ones!! we said no like can you make em now. she goes yeaaaa no they are fresh. we said oh ok well how fresh? she goes oh from early this morning, keep in mind it is 6.30pm, she then continues to say they are fresh trust me. we're like are you kidding? lol. we said no please we would like fresh. then she started with the attitude and raising her voice and pressing her screen really hard. then when the buns were made she basically threw them at us over the counter. it was disgusting! never everrr coming here again. ever! ever!

worst resturant ever. dont even bother going. worst customerserviceever. over priced. too expensive and taste really bad. dont go there if u dont wanna waste your money
