update from my last review. okay. i tried to be nice about this place in my first review. but after today, i'm too peeved to be nice. first of all, our server asked us if we wanted chips and salsa, but failed to mention that the chips and salsa here is a $4 appetizer. not a problem, if i had been made aware of that fact, but i don't like paying for something that you usually get for free at a restaurant. they might want to mention that before offering it to you. then, i ordered a vegetarian quesadilla. a chicken something or other was brought to me. i thought they had just brought me the wrong thing and that my new item would resemble the quesadillas i have always had in the past. no. apparently, this is the only mexicanrestauranton the planet where a quesadilla is not a tortilla filled with melted cheese (and whatever else you request in it). what was on my plate was a horrible concoction of raw vegetables and unmelted cheese of some variety. it was the greasiest mess i have ever laid eyes on and tasted just as bad as it looked. i will definitely not be returning here in the future.

decent food, but overpriced. thisrestaurantwas recommended to us by a friend who used to live in the area. we love mexican food and are new to the area, so decided to check it out. therestaurantis really cute, with great decor and a great atmosphere. the food was pretty good, although i was not a fan of the chips or the salsa. the margaritas were not great, tasted like they were from a mix rather than from scratch (not to mention they were overpriced at almost $8 for a regular, more for top-shelf). the service was good. our server was very nice and answered any questions we had. it's nice that this place is so close to where we live, but i doubt we will be visiting often because of the prices.
