what a fantastic restaurant! deliciousfoodand great atmosphere. this would have to be the best spanish restaurant i've been to (and i've been to spain!!)

dinner. had a great night here after vivid, having made a booking,foodwas excellent. my huge gripe, however, came when ordering coffee after dinner. " we only do coffee for lunch " wtf. spoiled a near perfect evening.

this place had been on my list forever, with so many positive reviews, expectations were very high. it was not as busy as expected for a saturday night, there were plenty of tables available upstairs where we got seated. the service was friendly & prompt. they also had a good selection of drinks. thefoodthough was some what hit & miss. loved the spanner crab, prawn & sweet corn “bolas” tapa; the jamon serrano on the charcuterie board was also great. on the other hand, the mallorquina, like a sticky chorizo filling without the sausage skin, was heavy & hard to eat. also not sold on the fried egg in with the mushrooms side. the “chicken wings” were more just frenched mini drumettes. overall was ok, maybe if the place was busier the atmosphere would be more exciting.

came here for a team lunch and loved the vibe !!foodis amazing and the service staff is attentive. their wine collection is pretty good. lovely place to get away to for a work lunch.

i booked a table at tapavino for my birthday because i’ve heard good reviews from my friends. the staff were extremely friendly and we were served really quickly too. i still can’t get over how good thefoodis! my company and i left feeling absolutely satisfied and wished we could’ve stomached more food. i’ll definitely have to come back to try more of theirfoodand drinks menu.

thefoodis simply amazing! highly recommend the beef cheeks, jámon and my absolute favourite the cheese and honey.

highly recommend detouring this dining establishment, save your time and monies.

used to go to tapavino regularly when i was in the area, it has been about 4-5 yrs since. went there in march for dinner expecting the same level offoodand tastiness. was disappointed they took the lamb off the menu as that was one of the best dishes. we ordered a good selection offoodand was still tasty as i remember

we came for an early dinner at starting at 5. thefoodwas fast and hot. i'll be here again because this was great. the service and quality was outstanding. go here please

arrived early thinking that we could have a drink at the bar while waiting for our table, were told that as we had children with us they couldn’t come inside until our table in the restaurant area was ready, had to wait outside which would have been okay if it wasn’t so windy and cool. very noisy in restaurant area, could barely hear the person next to me. took the wait staff 30 mins to take our order forfoodand drinks, we had to call them over. foodcame out relatively quickly,foodwas very good. good food, shame that the restaurant was cramped and noisy.

lunched here on a beautiful summer afternoon. all the dishes were delicious but my fav was the beef cheeks with chickpea puree, the beef was packed full of flavour and melted in my mouth. the spiced roasted sweet potato was beautiful too - spices and sour cream balanced the sweet potatoes so well.
service was the let-down... waitress was on the phone and threw the dish down without saying anything.. i expected better customer service than that.foodwad fantastic tho

it was honestly the worst dining experience of mine and my parents lives.

all thefoodwas far too salty, the crisps were burned, the asparagus and chilli dish was mostly inedible (asparagus was overcooked and the chillis were inedible), very expensive for miniscule portion sizes that wouldn't satisfy a toddler... mosquitos flying all through the dining area, people walking up and down the stairs next to our table and bumping into my chair, a very cramped dining space... it was absolutely ridiculous. i wouldn't recommend tapavino restaurant to anyone. we definitely wasted our money tonight. a total insult to spanish cuisine.

being tucked away in a cobbled lane helps to set the scene... if lucky enough you may score a table outside and enjoy some alfresco dining... just as you might on a summers evening in spain.

the wine list is well chosen and spanish, and the staff know their wines.

thefoodwas delicious and servings generous. we had the:
- jamon with burrata. the burrata was the hero of this dish, delightfully creamy and subtly flavoursome. - sardines - fresh and bursting with flavour.
- braised chorizo - my favourite dish of the evening, as i've never had chorizo prepared in this way. it was slow cooked and literally melted in your mouth. the tomato based sauce was rich and juicy and not too tart.
- beef cheeks - cooked to perfection but slightly lacking in flavour. the chickpea purée however was delicious and the better half of the dish.
- shaved cabbage salad - would recommend adding to your meal, to balance the intensity and heaviness of the other dishes.

overall delightful. my only negative of the night was the rather brusque way in which we were made to leave, as they wanted to seat the next lot of diners.
in saying that i would happily go again (with a second seating booking) to try the desserts and other dishes.
