cheeseburgers!. their cheeseburgers are not only the best in town, but some of the best i've ever had. sweet rolls, your choice of cheese, juicy meat... yummmmmm!

best selection of beers in san marcos. the food is also decent. try the hell burger or spicy garlic wings ($0.30 a wing on wednesday)! if you can handle smelling like an ashtray, this is one of the best spots in san marcos.

tap room fare. i love the veggie burgers with thier awesome bread and fries!!! go for lunch because dinner is aweful with the smoke and crowd while you are eating. not to mention, lots of yummy beer to drink.

clearly doesn’t like bikers. worst experience ever. used to come here all the time. group of 12 coming in for beer and food. could have been a huge tab. the "owner" took all of our beer orders, brought us our drinks and then 20 min later came and refused us service because one of our party touched her back to let her know he was behind her to sit down. it just occurred to me that she is not from the generation that is courteous and has manners so she thought he was groping her. . we won't ever set foot back in this place and will give louie's our service from now on.

the food was very good. i had a full rack of ribs, they were fall of the bone delish, with bbq sauce and a beer.
my buddy had a berger with the works. told me it was fantastic.
the waitress was there as soon as i sat down. she took my order and in no time my lunch was on the table.
i will have to say the bar was not crowded, so i will have to return some day and see how the service is then.

i think the burgers arent worth it. a place thats hyped up. you can get a better buger at rockets ect. got the one with nacho cheese the first time not bad but not enjoyable. theres better places

yummy! and wonderful service!. we found this place (from this site!) while looking for a good lunch with the kids after a trip to the caf museum nearby and boy were we pleased! the food was delicious (the fries were amazing!), the service was great, we loved it! if i could change one thing, it would be some smaller meal options for kids. for example, chicken strips. they only have the full adult size, which would be way too much for a kid. we made it work and did some sharing, but a few smaller meal options would have been great. oh, and amazing beer selection! my husband got the hell burger and the vanilla stout and was in happy land! i had the queso burger, delish!

the food is delicious! and the selection of brews is fantastic. i recommend the mushroom swiss burger and any of the ipas.

delicious food and drinks!. taproom is amazing! i would recommend anybody in the san marcos area to stop at this place. the burger will cure all hunger. i get mine with the caramelized onions they have. yum! always have the nicest lady as our server and remembers what i want along with my drink order. they have beer blends and a tons of beers on tap.
also taproom is on the back part of the street, do not let that stop you from finding this place.

we compare all the burgers we eat to taproom.. they are sooo amazing! the fries are excellent! and awesome beer menu. chicken ranch pita is delicious too!!!

best burger i've had in at least 3 years. great beer selection. nice people. would be perfect except for smoking.
