good but crowded!. i ate here with an asian friend who had nothing but high praise for their ramen noodles. she was right - they are completely different (and a million times better) than the instant kind! went back last weekend and had another good meal.
it does get quite crowded but the service is fast and we didn't wait long at all for food, though we did have to wait about 20 minutes for a table and there was not enough parking. it seems to be a popular spot for the college-age crowd - it's hard to go wrong with cheap, tasty food - but they tend to be on the more boisterous side. overall the place is fairly small and a bit loud, but the food isworthit!
it'sworthnoting that other similar restaurants nearby were virtually empty, but there were plenty of people waiting outside tajima most of the night!
