just what the inner child ordered. having grown up on commercial cookie ice cream sandwiches, sweet sammies was a terrific after-dinner treat. they featured several different kinds of blue bell ice cream, which was then sandwiched between two homemade-style cookies. the cookies were thick and a bit stiff --- i preferred the softer pumpkin cookie (one of their seasonal cookies), but they were verygoodtextures for sandwiching. however, at this price (under $3/sandwiches), you can't beat it, and every customer in the store in had a huge smile of anticipation on their face.
