memorable ice cream. best ice cream i have ever tasted. my favorite ice cream has always beenmintchip. eating it at sweet republic is the first time i have ever hadmintchip ice cream that has actually tasted like realmintout of the garden. my wife for the salted butter caramel and it was very flavorful. most ice cream parlors just seem like overpriced versions of what you would find in the grocery - sweet republic is definitely the exception - flavors are intense. wish they had one in roanoke!

not so sweet. the sweet smell of ice cream does not cover up for the service that stinks! a one person staff with a nack for moving slow should not add multi-tasking to their resume. we just wanted to purchase a pre-packed pint, but instead we paid 15 minutes of our time standing and watching the clerk's ridiculous placement of nuts one by one on top of a sundae. we do not appreciate your lack of service and just because you flavor your ice cream with bacon or cantelope does not make you any better than a simplemintchip cone from baskin robbins where at least a few teenage scoopers eagerly wait to provide a quick cone and a smile.

great ice cream and sorbets!. what i love about sweet republic is that they have some unique flavors in addition to the classic flavors. another bonus is the freshly made waffle cones! i also like the fact that the ice creams and sorbets are not overly sweet like some store bought items. they are known for the salted caramel ice cream, which is very good. i also like the basil lime sorbet, blueberry pomegranate sorbet, lavender ice cream, and forbidden rice ice cream. they also put their own twist on classics likemintchip and cookies n' cream. they use freshmintleaves for themintchip and visible chunks of cookies. the menu is on the pricier side, but totally worth every now and then!
