iloveyou suzyq. so simple and so delicious! this is how a donut should taste. it's ruined tim horton's for me. buttercream mint or boston cream for the win!

such poor service. i was so incredibly disappointed at the service i received. when i go into a local shop and spent my hard earned money ($50 isn't cheap for me) i expect a certain level of service.

when i ordered 2 dozen donuts i had first requested that they be assorted. after taking a look at the selection i had changed my mind and decided there were certain donuts i did want included, and i asked the woman behind the counter politely if i could actually select the donuts.

she was quite visibly bothered by my request, sighed loudly widened her eyes and said "ugh, could we do this for the next dozen?"

there was not a lineup in the store, so i am unsure why this request was so unsettling and bothersome to her.
i was taken aback and quickly regretted my choice of not opting for the cheaper alternative of heading into a tim hortons drive thru for more polite service, especially since these donuts were my collegues at work

i remained polite and selected the next dozen, while she became more impatient as i tried to quickly give my next selection.

ilovethese donuts, have liked this bakery on facebook and recommended them to my friends. but i have to say after this experience i will probably make the drive out to almonte to the place i was told about there.

as i related this story to my collegues at work, i had a fellow tell me of the service his father had received at the shop in almonte (healthy food technologies incorperated)

his father went in, and was trying it out, and said " i see you have dutchies?" so they gave the dutchie, and then he said "i see you have jelly filled?" they said "yes" and they handed him a jelly filled....4 donuts later he went to pay, and the cashier said "don't worry about the cost...they are great, and we know you will be back.."

i would drive 30 minutes out of my way after hearing how they treat their customers....

perhaps suzy q has become so popular that they have forgotten how to treat their customers, but i was so terribly disappointed

a must-try if you're visiting ottawa. they have the best donuts!!! ilovethe simple sugar-coated donut and the one with bacon! my friendslovethe dark chocolate and the raspberry ones... either way, buy half a dozen, or heck, a dozen! and eat them right away! they keep well but they're amazing when fresh! ohh i wish i live close enough to have them every week!!!

to die for. just tried these for the first time today...made a special trip and boy was it worth it...the best donuts i have ever had in my life...sugar munki and dirty chocolate.lovelove love, will never eat another tim hortons donut in my life.

it’s been a while since i ate suzy q donuts. but today i decided to pick up some for donuts lovers. i bought a mix of donuts and cut into pieces so that my friends and i could taste all. the donuts were so soft and tasty. welovethem all!!!

probably one of my fav donut places here in ottawa! i’ve only been here twice. and i’ve tried the maple bacon donut, and recently had the mocha fudge donut. the mocha fudge donut was delicious 😍😍😍 and only paid $3 including tax. everything is freshly made in house and wouldloveto come here more often for sure.

amazing donuts.lovethe earl grey flavour, very unique and delicious. recently tried the spicy pineapple which was very interesting and actually pretty good

always amazing!! ilovethat there are always a variety of flavours and constant additions! totally worth the wait, which isn't ever really that long in my opinion.

ilovesuzy q donuts! there is just the right amount of sweetness on each donut, and each donut i've ever had so far was light and fluffy. my favourite is the salted caramel... i'll be sure to try new flavours next time around.

lovelovelove! the gourmet doughnuts are delicious! perfect ratio of topping and doughnut. i recommend trying london fog (earl grey), raspberry cassis, and even the simplest of them all, sugar munkki.

there is nothing better in this world than bacon. well other than my wife 😃 but when you put bacon on a donut it is just heaven.lovethis place. i must go for the dessert connoisseur

oh wow. amazing. i heard your doughnuts were so good, even from a non-doughnut fan, who happens toloveyour doughnuts. i'm waiting to visit from wisconsin. i hope to stop in, just to try your doughnuts. if i brought them back to the usa to share, would they be considered contraband because they are so delicious? i was told they are very good.

je ai entendu vos beignets étaient si bons, même d'un fan non-beigne, qui arrive à aimer vos beignets. je attends visiter depuis wisconsin. je espère que de se arrêter à, juste pour essayer vos beignets. si je les ramène vers les etats-unis à part, seraient-ils être considérés comme la contrebande parce qu'ils sont si délicieux? on m'a dit qu'ils sont très bons.
