i always thought the idea of vegan thai food was quite off-putting but i just couldn’t control my curiosity.
service: 7/10
the lady that greeted us looked quite tired but she still tried her best to be polite and enthusiastic.
she was also super understanding when we informed her of our dietary restrictions and perfectly obeyed our instructions.
the food did take quite long to come even though it wasn’t dinner rush time.
food: 6/10
we ordered the green curry and the pad thai.
the green curry tasted purely of coconut milk and felt like dessert more than dinner. i understand that it’s vegan but shouldn’t it be a imitation of real green curry?
the pad thai was actually decent but it also had quite a strong component of sweetness to it. the fake meat in it was actually pretty good, even though the texture was a little weird.
overall even though there wasn’t any animal products, it was still packed with nutritious ingredients, that didn’t take awful.
ambiance: 3/10
don’t come here expecting to be wowed by the ambiance.
it feels quite dark and musty inside with no windows since it’s at the end of a corridor.
the space isn’t very spacious and there are a few seats in weird corners of the restaurant.
the kitchen is hidden behind a wall but it is still quite loud since there isn’t a closed door separating it.
it’s a prettygoodoption for vegan asian food but don’t expect it to taste very authentic.
