little weak on the service but incredible food! crispy chicken with rice, green curry and springrolls are a must everytime and a great alternative to meat :)

tofu pad thai was delicious, not too oily like others i’ve tried. nicely plated. service was fast. not many vege places in the city so nice to have another option close by.

the vegan menu offers a wide variety of flavours. if you are new to veganism or have a craving for a familiar meat dish, this place will provide you with that fix with their wide range of mock meats. they also offer beautiful pure vegetable dishes with perfectly cooked, vibrant, crunchy vegetables.

my favourite items from the menu are the soup noodle beef and vegetable, chicken peanut sauce, and the three curries. if you want something light, i would recommend the curry puffs, spring rolls, or dumplings. i really don't think you can go wrong, i haven't, and i have tried a good chunk of the menu over the years!

the atmosphere is cosy and feels like a second home. you can come here alone, on dates, or with friends. the staff are always really lovely and add to the charm and appeal of this place.

vegan restaurants are a bit rare so i was excited to visit! i really liked the crispy chicken on rice and the curry puffs. the pad thai was good but dumplings were very blank. the service was a real let down. the place was busy with only one front of house staff member. i had to go up to the till to order, had to ask for water and remind them that we ordered drinks as it still hadn’t come after the first dishes arrived. noticed a few other customers had to do the same. wait wasn’t too bad for food however. toilets were pretty icky with a puddle of water on the floor. found out why - the water from the tap was so strong it squirted over the sink and onto my shoes. would love to see these minor issues rectified :)

fantastic place for vegetarians and very good service , tasty food . we ordered crispy chicken , crispy dumplings and dumplings in a soup are just amazing . can’t wait to go again 😊

loved my dish tonight, i had “fish” & fries & my partner had a the chicken burger we both enjoy our meals. thank you staff at sunflower! we will be back 😁

really great restaurant, tucked away. completely vegan, super tasty menu. i had the “chicken” fried noodles and they were really yummy. we also got a few starters including the curry puffs which were also good. the prices are also relatively cheap! totally recommend.

i love this spot! as a vegetarian, it's nice to find a restaurant with so much choice. i have never been a fan of thai food in my life until i found sunflower. the food is consistent good quality and tastes lovely. i have tried the green curry and the spicy chicken on rice. both were so so good and full of flavour. i bring my meat loving friends here all the time and they enjoy it! customer service is quick and professional. absolutely recommend this place to everyone as there's something for everyone.

i have had the food from here and it’s great but one thing the restaurant needs to work on is timings. we called to enquire about lunch and they said it’ll be open at 11 (as per the zomato app and google), we got there and they said to wait for 15 mins and after 15 mins they said they can’t serve us till 11:45 as the chef didn’t turn up. we were basically told to wait and then told to go. surprising how chef can be a late. not a way to do business.

my husband and i are visiting auckland for 3 days and we’ve been here twice already! came across sunflower thai on happy cow, and i’m glad i did! the faux chicken is so tasty and juicy! and the dressing they put on top of it and the salad, yum! pad thai (not in photo) is also great! sweet, tasty and tangy, just how they make it in thailand!great balance. generous servings, awesome and friendly staff. central location. probably the best d*mn faux chicken i’ve had. i’ve tried many, and you guys are the real deal!

12/7/2018 lunch, try to support vegetarian restaurant.
i just walk in and ask a fried noodles and chickens, $14.50.
then i sit and wait, the environment is dark, not enough light i think.
then, the meal comes, just like the picture i take, it a small dishes, tasteless and it not even fried!
why it call fried noodle if it doesn't fried at all?

food is amazing. one of the best thai places i've visited. their spicy fried chicken(vegan) is so good and one of my favoirite is the fried chicken with peanut sauce. the staff are nice and the menu is very has a wide range of options.

this place is a treat for vegans - must go. they have a huge selection of vegan dishes. we ordered spicy chicken, pancakes, green curry, pad thai and curry puffs. the pad thai was the best. my vegetarian friends loved the food, non vegetarians found it average. staff was very friendly and helpful, place gets packed very quickly.

the most incredible vegetarian restaurant you will ever eat at! i usually hate vegetarian restaurants because they try too hard to be 'alternative', however this place is amazing! it might be small but it sure is mighty! delicious food, huge menu, all vegetarian! also bonus of being super cheap! my meaty bf and friends also love the food here! my fave food is the crispy chicken and also green curry! go there!! you won't be sorry! i wish i could win lotto to buy them a bigger space! wish they did delivery again too!! so amazing!!

i love it here. the massamun curry, and fried chicken are my absolute favourites! the food here is so good i always have to question that it’s actually all vegan. would highly highly recommend giving it a try. great value for money too, left full, content and did not break the bank.
