we eat regularly at suk jai. we have visited thailand many times and just love the taste of thai cuisine.whangareiis so lucky to have a restaurant with such high quality thai food and excellent service. it is not surprising that they were presented with an award from the prime minister of thailand earlier this year. well done charn and your team. our favourites are; tom yum prawn soup, mussamun beef curry, garlic pepper prawns and vegetables, prawn cakes, oyster sauce beef and vegetables, som tum grilled salmon salad and not forgetting the best chicken satay sticks ever. highly recommend the typhoon cocktail and chang beer this restaurant is a must family even travel from auckland to eat here when they can! suggest you book as this restaurant is often full.
