a couple of weeks ago we were invited to try out suikerbossie's legendary sunday buffet, and it was goooood. we started with excellent butternut soup, served in little glass teacups. then we moved onto the buffet: from the salads, to the carvery, to the epic dessert table (the passion fruit soufflé is perfection), it was a truly wonderful way to spend a lazy sunday. with suikerbossie's own wine (delish, by the way!) to keep us company, we were there long enough to watch them set up for dinner. the view is gorgeous, the owners have been part of the business for decades and you really do feel like you're sitting in an old friend's very big, rather fancy dining room. not just a spot for awedding- go to suikerbossie anytime for a great meal!
