the place is just magnificent...every little corner is incredible... the food is good but not as special as the place itself ;-)) worth the visit

if you've ever been to barcelona this place will bring you right back to those nights of great food and drinks, relaxing ambiance yet fun atmosphere, and tapas style dishes to share.  their strawberry balsamic cocktail is one of the best drinks i've ever had; the taste was toooo on point- you could taste all of the flavors without the over powering flavor of the alcohol, yet when you stood up you knew there was plenty of alcohol in the drink.  we shared a variety of plates and you can't go wrong with the bacon-wrapped dates (i don't even like dates but i loved these) and the brussel sprouts!  all of the fish in our sushi was very tasty and fresh! can't wait to be back in miami just so i can go here!

atmosphere is gorgeous!!! i cannot wait till it's cooler outside so i can enjoy some drinks outside in there terrace that feels like you are transported to a garden. food was out of this world and such interesting flavors i have never tried like the kimchee watermelon. i will defiantly come here again and again!

mad people as host. on friday march 6 at around 11:20 pm ( so management knows who are this two disrespectful employees that are damaging their business) i walk into the restaurant i was rudely informed that there was no space and that i could sit outside while was pouring rain i decided to get some drinks at the bar while i waited for one of the 6 to 10 tables (we were a party of 2 so no challenge here). i was put on a waiting list and informed i they will text me when table is ready after 20 minutes i notice they were seating new arrivals so i reach the desk and ask her that i was still waiting for a table, she said she had nothing open so i asked her to sit us the grill bar (i feel silly now they made me feel i was begging for a space to give them business). at that moment a man that was helping the host told me that he though i had left and he erased me from the list, that they were not opening that space for us and if i was in a hurry i could either wait or leave, i was very disappointed. drinks and bar tender were good though. i honestly feel they should hire people that knows how to organize a restaurant in a crucial position as is the host.
funny remark when i was paying for my dinner at novecento right next door they texted me that my table was ready ( i just laugh)

favorite restaurant in miami. 4 different kitchens, knowledgeable staff, incredibly diverse menu, incredible ambiance and location, out of this world food! from bone marrow, to kimchi, ceviche, sushi, and fois gras. my absolute favorite restaurant in greater miami!

fun that includes crafty cocktails and tasty tapas on a beautiful outdoor patio, need i say more!

the menu at sugarcane has a lot to absorb, with eight sections of tempting dishes to choose from. i homed in on the crudo area and sprang for the scallop with apple, black truffle, lime and jalapeño as well as the akaushi beef carpaccio, sprinkled with pickled mushrooms and truffle ponzu. the dishes were a perfect compliment to each other, the scallop dish providing a shock of acidity, while the carpaccio brought things down to earth with grassy flavors in the beef and mushrooms.

don't come here if you're from out of the country just so you know if you plan on having drinks your drivers license and any other form of i.d is not valid... if you must come here bring your passport.

amazing!!!! everything on the menu is fantastic! the shrimp ceviche is the best ever

balls to the wall dessert a must!!. “balls to the wall” which was a brownie dipped in funnel cake batter, deep fried, then served with condensed milk and vanilla ice cream on the side, and all topped with powdered sugar. we ordered one ball as we were pretty stuffed from the entrée, and decided to split it. the dessert was amazing – it was slightly crunchy from the fried batter, but incredibly soft once you crack the ball open. the gooey brownie scooped with the ice cream was heavenly. i separated the batter part of the ball from the brownie, and drizzled it with the condensed milk served on the side. when we were done, we left happily full.

fabulous drinks. love coming here for drinks and oysters! i've tried a good amount of their drinks, my favorite is the rum 'n bramble.

while i would recommend this spot for tapas in a heartbeat, they are also quite a differentiator for cocktails. i indulged in the strawberry balsamic. my love for sweet and savory was complemented in this drink, incorporating fresh strawberries, aged balsamic, premium vodka, and fresh lime juice.

great experience. this is the first time we've eaten here & were very impressed. we stuck to the tapas & loved them all. the pumpkin soup was good, but a little sweet. in order of deliciousness, we had the duck confit & waffles (fantastic), crispy pork belly with mango salad, 5 spice & honey spare ribs, goat cheese croquettes and the broccolini. the service was also excellent.

bacon wrapped figs amazing, wagyu slider amazing, octopus amazing, try the pig ears slivers(seasoned wit brown sugar or cinnamon) really nice. foie gras was decent(i've had better) oh an try the grilled octopus. service was good and located in an up and coming area in miami.

terrific food! stop reading this and go make a reservation! (pricy but worth it!)
